wie sieht es denn mit den Hardware Anforderungen bei den bt878 Karten aus? Reicht mein P1-133? Der hat ja MMX. Dann sollte es doch gehen, oder? Was muss ich machen? Bitte einfache Anleitung Posten binn Anfänga!

16Bit OSD war übrigens zuerst auch ein Scherz, ist dann aber afaik tatsächlich realisiert worden!
Als Problem hat sich aber der nur geringe mögliche Datendurchsatz erwiesen, die 16Bit für Fullscreen da durchzuquetschen dauert ne halbe Stunde

schade eine version 1.4 könnte wirklich langsam kommen

Wenn ein Release die Versionsnummer 1.4 verdient hätte, dann wohl diese

Aber vielleicht wird ja nächstes Jahr was daraus.

The changes since version 1.4.21:

- Added integration of MythTV and freevo. VDR will now be recognized by those programs and you will get a new Menue point VDR (thanks to Robert Kulagowski and Krister Lagerström). Alternatively you can use new VDR build-in frame buffer on-screen-display with 16 bit support. With that, Xine-Plugin will become obsolete (thanks to Reinhard Nissl).

- Full use of framebuffer for furture support for HDTV, even added online Mpeg4-Compression to save disk space (thanks to Robert Nissl). You can now chose between DivX, Xvid and many other formats.

- Added mySQL-Support. channels.conf, setup.conf and all the other formerly known .conf-Files will be integrated in a small database. Added relational databases for plugin-support.

- Added Online-Update via Internet. For common distros like Suse, Debian, Gentoo and LFS I put all known plugins on my server and extended the abilities of VDR for automatic download and install routines. Please refer to the README how to install and configure this.

- Added DVD-Recording. With this feature, you can directly record a running recording on a DVD with a common dvd-burner. Attention: This request a powerful machine ! Approximately 2.5 Ghz (thanks to Marco Schüssler and Sven Goethel).

- Enhanced support for analogue TV-Cards. With a small chip extension and a sat-cable-connector, every btx878 based tv-card should now be able to directly record mpeg-based DVB-Streams to disk.

- Note that this VDR version is a very unstable release because of the analog card support. Please report problems found in this version on the mailing-list.

which is the CVS 'RELOADED' version from 2005-03-31, made available as a complete
archive for your convenience.

Of course, you can also use any newer driver version.

Hm, irgendwie schätze ich, dass das nächste LinVDR damit endlich auf sarge basiert

Bis linvdr 0.8 ist sarge sicher eh schon stable
