Nachdem der 1. Thread langsam unübersichtlich wird und es auch eine neue(re) Version ist, gibts mal einen Neuanfang.

Achtung: Für den linvdrupdater hat sich ein falscher Proxyeintrag eingeschlichen: Bitte löscht die Datei /root/.linvdrupdaterrc bzw. passt den Eintrag "PROXY=" an euren verwendeten Proxyserver (falls benötigt) an.

Was ist neu gegenüber beta1?
  • Neuer VDR-1.4.6-extp25 mit softdevice-0.4 und noch ein paar Plugins, genaueres auf Toxic-Tonic's Seite.
  • Patch für den Installer, fstab sollte jetzt korrekt geschrieben werden (auch auf Serial-ATA Systemen)
  • Deutsche Texte (danke fürs übersetzen) (Umlautprobleme sind bekannt)
  • Ausgabedevice Scriptlogik erweitert und verbessert. ACHTUNG! Wenn man eine Ausgabemethode ausgewählt hat, braucht man die entsprechenden Plugins nicht (!) mehr selbst auswählen. Ich werde noch eine Änderung im setup machen, dann sind die entsprechenden Module bereits vorausgewählt zu sehen.+
  • PVR-350 Ausgabe funktioniert noch nicht, ich teste das aber sobald ich die PVR-350 hier habe (Danke an den Spender der Leihgabe, bekommst sie auch gesund und munter wieder!)
  • Geänderte Hardwarerkennung, RTL8139-Besitzer müssen sich aber noch etwas Gedulden, hier wird fälschlicherweise immer noch das falsche Modul geladen (8139cp statt 8139too). Abhilfe: in /etc/sysconfig eine Variable NETMODULE mit Wert "8139too" anlegen. Ich würde mich über ein paar Daten von RTL8139 Besitzern freuen: "lspci -v" und "lspci -vn". Bitte als Datei(en) an den Thread hängen, nichts direkt in den Text posten, das wird unübersichtlich!
  • fbtv Ausgabe funktioniert noch nicht!
  • em84xx-Plugin ist für die Verwendung von mplayer übersetz worden, Test muss noch gemacht werden (das Wochenende war zu schön um im Kämmerchen zu sitzen).
  • Ansonsten alle Patche der beta1, hab ich noch was wichtiges vergessen?


Vorgehen bei Kartenerkennungsproblemen mit bekannten Modulparametern:

Falls Eure DVB-Karte(n) bestimmte Modulparameter bzw. noch andere Module, die nicht automatisch mitgeladen werden, benötigen, dann geht bitte folgendermassen vor (falls es kein ausführbares Skript "/usr/bin/getDVBCardData" gibt, bitte linvdrupdater starten):

* /usr/bin/getDVBCardData aufrufen, Anweisungen befolgen
* Die erstellte Datei aus /etc/dvb_carddata als Anhang an ein Posting mit kurzer Beschreibung (Kartenmodell, Revision etc.) im Mahlzeit.ISO Thread veröffentlichen.

Von Zeit zu Zeit werde ich neu erstellte Dateien über den linvdrupdater verteilen.

Wichtig: Bei Problemen oder (offensichtlichen) Bugs bitte folgendermassen vorgehen:
  • Evtl. ist das Problem bereits bekannt, kurze Suche hier im Thread.
  • Bugzilla-Einträge durchsehen:
    Ich werde für diese Version die Fehler in Bugzilla führen (offene Bugs, geschlossene Bugs), das erhöht hoffentlich die Übersichtlichkeit und ich vergesse dann nichts. Augenzwinkern Und der (hoffentlich) aktuelle Status zur Bearbeitung ist dann dort auch nachzulesen.
  • Falls es ein neues Problem ist: "getDebugInfo" aufrufen und als Datei an den Thread anhängen, dazu kurze Beschreibung was nicht geht bzw. welcher Fehler auftritt.

ISO beta2

Hallo Markus
habe soeben die neue beta2 iso installiert. Leider läuft die PVR350 nicht auf Anhieb. IVTV-fb wird nicht geladen. Im moment bekomme ich die PVR 350 zum laufen wenn ich
1. /boot/grub/ menu.lst erweitern mit
video=vc:64-64 video=map:0

2.
rm -f /dev/fb0autodetect
rm -f /dev/fb1
mknod /dev/fb1 c 29 1
chmod 666 /dev/fb1

3. wegen der FB unter /etc/vdr/remotes verzeichnis PVR350 anlegen
lircd.conf aus dem Threat HowTo: PVR350-only auf Basis der mahlzeit-iso 3.2 kopieren und symlink anlegen.

wenn ich nach dem stoppen des vdrs

modprobe ivtv-fb

mache und dann den vdr starte läuft die pvr350; wenn ich den vdr danach stoppe und nocheinmal die module von Hand lade geht Sie nicht; erst nach einem erneuten booten klappt es wieder mit manuellem laden der Module.

PS muß nur nach dem stoppen des vdr die module ivtv und ivtv-fb von Hand entladen wenn ich dann ivtv-fb wieder lade klappt es auch ohne reboot

Ich guck mir das an, sobald ich die PVR-350 hier habe. Die wird heute losgeschickt, mal sehenwann sie ankommt. Hattest Du die Änderungen zu 1) und 2) schon auf Deinem System gemacht als ich dann rumprobiert habe? Dann ist es klar, dass es im neuen ISO nicht funktioniert, dort fehlen dann die Anpassungen. Werde ich nachholen, aber erst wenn ich die Karte hier habe.

Hallo Mahlzeit,

eine ganz blöde Frage. Bei mir ist grad noch die alte Beta mit allen updates drauf kann ich mir die Arbeit sparen upzudaten oder wird die nicht mehr vom linvdrupater "unterstützt" und somit auf Stand gehalten?

Ich werde noch beide mit Updates versorgen, ich hab nur mal ein neues ISO gemacht um den Installer zu testen und ein paar Sachen (vor allem Netzwerkerkennung, ausser man hat ne RTL8139) von Haus aus zu haben. Ohne Netzwerk auch kein updater, der das Netzwerk wieder hinbiegt Augenzwinkern

zum Thema fbtv:
man bekommts zum Laufen wenn man einmal auf der console den vdr stopt und wieder neu startet.

Beim versuch ein Abbild zu erstellen kommt folgende Mess:

Es fehlen die scripte dvdswitch_readdvd.sh und dvdswitch_writedvd.sh
Diese müßen bei Linvdr in /usr/local/bin/ abgelegt und ausführbar gemacht werden.

Jetzt kann man auswählen was und wohin aber sobald man das image erstellen will passiert folgendes:

zur rtl8139:

Es wird gar keine Karte mehr erkannt, man muss also nicht NETMODULE ändern, sondern den Eintrag neu hinzufügen!

Und hier die gewünschten Datein mahlzeit

Ansonsten geht eigentlich alles bis, bis auf ein paar Startschwierigkeiten, sehr gut.

Nur, wenn ich als Ausgabe softdevice wähle UND wähle die Plugins noch manuell aus, gehts nicht mehr, bzw das osb wird unbrauchbar langsam, aber da man die plugins ja auch gar nicht mehr manuell auswählen soll, ist das ja auch kein problem

Erstmal danke für die neue Version welle

gibt es eine Chance das em84xx Plugin mit Stillpicture zu bekommen?

Sonst geht die Version bei mir bisher ohne Probleme.

Hallo,

ich habe mich nun auch entschlossen mal das neue Mahlzeit-LinVDR zu installieren.

Die Installation lief soweit problemlos durch.

Beim Setup habe ich allerdings ein paar sachen aus dem alten Setup vermisst:
Z.B. Festplatte abschalten per noflushd, Größe der Ramdisk festlegen und dann letztendlich den Eintrag um die Videotext-Daten in die Ramdisk zu verschieben.
Kann ich diese Einstellungen auch über setup.linvdr vornehmen?


Ich hätte auch noch ein Verbesserungsvorschlag:

Wenn du schon das Setup neu gestaltest, wäre eine neuer Punkt für CompactFlash-Karten Besitzer interessant:
Mit diesem könnte man dann das SWAP-File abschalten,
die Ramdisk vergrössern (16MB),
die Videotext-Daten in die Ramdisk schieben
und die Log-Dateien und andere Files ebenfalls in die Ramdisk auslagern.


Ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden.

16 MB? Meine epg.data ist momentan 19 MB groß. Da müsste schon ein bisschen mehr her.
Ansonsten: Die Beta2 läuft super.
Nur das Setup-Plugin fehlt mir.

habe das Beta2 installiert - sowei ok. Aber ich kann kein lincdrupdater ausführen.

Ich erhalte folgende Meldung:
