[Gelöst]Kein Web-Frontend / Netzwerkprobleme mit Atheros AR8131

    Hallo,


    ich hab was sehr merkwürdiges...


    Frische Installation yavdr 0.3.0a, Webfrontent nicht erreichbar, weder unter IP noch unter Rechnername. Im IE kommt nach ner Zeit Fehler auf der Seite, endet bei der http://IP/admin -mit und ohne Slash am Ende- nach USR/PWD auf ner blauen Seite. Ohne admin geht nur die Startseite ohne Bilder.


    Mit Firefox geht gleich ein Downloadfenster auf, er will ein application/octet-stream annehmen. Datei dieÜbertragen werden soll heißt SbRvAwhr.part


    Hab zweimal installiert, Updates installiert, Fehler bleibt. Das Verrückte ist, eine IP daneben läuft ein anderer yavdr und der funktioniert mit beiden Laptops einwandfrei, und der ist von der selben Datenquelle -auch gestern Abend frisch- installiert.


    Irgenwer ne Idee dazu?

    ...habe das gleiche Problem, bin aber eher ein NewBeeeeeee, aber normal ist das doch nicht, ich hatte vor ca. 4 Wo mal zum testen ein System hochgefahren und hatte nicht diese Erfahrung machen müssen!

    mein erster Versuch:

    Danke für die Rückmeldung. Wann hast du installiert, heute?


    Möglicherweise ist eins der Paktete die während der Installation aus dem Netz nachgeladen werden defekt. Wäre echt ein Zufall wenn gerade bei dir - wo die selbe HW ja schon lief - zufällig das selbe Phhänomen an nem unverbastelten System auftritt.


    Aktuell hab ich das meinste so konfigireren können, müsste nur lirc, HDMI Audio, Auflösung und Graphtft setzen... aber so wirds wohl nix :(

    Das Symptom kenn ich von meinem alten SD VDR, so zwei Jahre her damals war was mit tntnet/live im Argen...


    Woran kann man ausmachen das Problem hier lokal ist oder ob ein defektes Paket kommt?

    also über den Firefox im VDR komm ich über localhost drauf, grad gesehen das das Straemdevice Plugin aktiv ist, vllt liegts daran.

    Ich denke das Problem liegt nicht an den Paketen, sonst würden hier viel mehr Hinweise/Fragen kommen.


    Ich habe kürzlich auch einen Stable-VDR aufgesetzt - ohne Probleme. Die entsprechenden Dateien haben sich seither soweit mir bekannt, nicht geändert.

    so, nach vielen Tests, und dank großer Mühe und Einsatz von Volker (v_r) ist dieses Problem jetzt gelöst.


    Problem hier ist, das bis zum jetztigen Stand '2.6.32-28' das atl1c Kernelmodul den Atheros AR8131 Netzwerkchip nicht sauber bedient.


    Abhilfe schafft hier ein:

insmod atl1e.ko
reboot


    danach wird beim Boot das atl1e geladen, das atl1c kann somit geblacklisted werden.

    Es gibt IMHO im Forum einige Threads, die einen Hinweis auf diese Lösung verdient hätten:

    am besten man baut so lang der Modul im Kernel nicht aktualisiert ist ein dkms Paket, sonst stehst du ohne lokale Tastatur ewig nach nem Kernelupdate (dist-upgrade) draußen! - scheint ja doch recht gängig zu sein der Chip, nciht nur auf dem einen Motherboard...

    CKone: Könntest Du den Thread-Titel anpassen, damit Leute schon im Titel auf Atheros AR8131 hingewiesen werden? Damit hilfst Du anderen Leuten, die das gleiche Problem haben.

    Das wirklich tückische an dem Ding ist, dass das Kernelmodul astrein empfangen kann, jedes gesendete Paket größer ca 2Kb jedoch kaputt ist.


    Von daher kommt man da nicht wirklich einfach drauf, dass was mit der Nic nicht stimmt...

    Ich hab (aus anderen Gründen) yavdr 0.3 nochmal installiert. Jetzt läuft das Frontend jedoch gleich auf Anhieb, ohne Netzwerktreiberupdate.
    Das soll einer verstehen ...
    Evtl. hat es mit der tntnet.conv zu tun. Das kam während der Installation:

    YAVDR 0.5 auf AsRock H61M/U3S3, Hauppauge WinTV Nova-HD-S2, Nova SD, Gainward G210, Celeron G530, 2GB, 2TB EcoGreen, Atric im Digitainer mit Thermaltake-Netzteil und Logitech Harmony.

    und mit dem angehängten Patch kompiliert der Atheros 1.0.14 Family Treiber dann auch gegen natty 2.6.38, ohne ist bei 2.6.35 Ende
