soderle mal ein paar Infos zu dem Thema hier:
Inhalt der easyVDR 0.5beta2:
Achtung wie gesagt das ist eine Beta-Version, an der im Moment noch der Feinschliff gemacht wird.
Also nicht enttäuscht sein, wenn das eine oder andere Detail noch nicht rund läuft.
- Debian-Etch als Grundlage mit udev-Skripten, mit Kernelsourcen und VDR-Sourcen.
- Kernel 2.6.21.3
- VDR1.4.7 mit extp32
- alle grundlegenden Plugins in den aktuellen Versionen, ungefähre Übersicht siehe hier, (bin gerade am anpassen des easyVDR-Wiki):

- Teilweise Umstellung der Philosphie:
Die Standardplugins mp3+mp3ng werden defaultmäßig deaktiviert. Die Addons XXV, Muggle, vdradmin und mySQL werden defaultmäßig mitgeliefert und sind
funktionsfähig, aber nicht aktiviert. Dies kann jeweils übers OSD geändert werden.
Die Plugins: Live mit EPG-Search und Music sind komplett eingebaut und defaultmäßig aktiviert.
Das wird die Distri schneller und komfortabler machen.
- Sehr stark verkürzte und optimierte Ladezeit bis zum Bild bei FF-System
- Die OSD-Bedienung wurde nochmals erweitert und optimiert
- experimentelle Activy-Unterstützung integriert. (Bitte /easyVDRSetup.sh ausführen und in Hardwareinstellungen auswählen)
Das wars dann mal, den Rest könnt ihr durchs Testen selber rausfinden!?

Ich habe die Version mit den Tar Paket eingespielt geht schon sehr gut. Leider ist der Neue Startschirm nur sehr kurz zu sehen , und dann 4-7 seconde schwar bis der Schirm kommt.
Was ich machen das die Twinhan auch aktiviert wird.
So habe ich in der /etc/vdr/drivermodules eingeschaltet. Die 2 Karte ist da aber dies??

Jepp so ist es, die Abstürze sind mit der 0.5er skinenigmang weg. Die beta2 hat standardmässig noch die 0.5rc3 von skinenigmang dabei.
Zu den anderen Sachen gibts bald ne beta3 mit neuem Kernel und evtl. neuen HG-Treibern.

Das Image scheint auch nicht Activy bootbar gepatcht zu sein.
Warum wird ext2 und nicht ext3 verwendet?
In die menu.lst sollten die setkeycodes der Activy FB eingetragen werden, damit diese dort auch funktioniert (Cursortasten).
In der sources.list ist debian-multimedia doppelt drin.

W: Probieren Sie »apt-get update«, um diese Probleme zu korrigieren.
Das Hauptproblem ist aber, dass nach der Installation gebootet wird und auch die Konsolenausgaben kommen, jedoch auf beiden SCART-Ausgängen. VDR-Ausgabe bekommt man nicht zu sehen.

Daher ist es ja eine beta
Es gibt derzeit keine automatische Erkennung ob es ein VDR mit reinem Budget, DXR3 oder EM84xx (wie activy oder Netmagic) handelt.
Nur bei FF Karten reagiert der VDR sofort (da das nunmal die Einrichtung der meisten User ist, ein VDR mit FF + evtl Budget Karten)
Daher gibt es seit der 0.5 ein Konsolentool, wenn dass dann läuft wird mit sicherheit über einen automatismus nachgedacht. Nicht vergessen, easyvdr ist im Gegensatz zu c´t,Linvdr oder gen2vdr ein recht "junges" system.
Aber wir arbeiten daran, easyvdr so richtig easy zu bekommen

sorry, war gestern nach der Zeit einfach extrem genervt.
runvdr und startvdr habe ich eingegeben, weil ich es nicht anders kannte.
Dieses Skript sollte dringendst im Wiki erwähnt werden, damit nicht jeder diese Frage stellt! Im vdr-wiki und im EasyVDR-Wiki steht nämlich leider gar nichts davon bei Installation.
Wenn die CD rausfährt sollte beim Install eine dementsprechende Meldung angezeigt werden, damit man auch ohne im Wiki zu lesen weiß, was dann los ist!
So, werde es gleich testen.
Achso und der enorme Platzverbrauch sollte im Wiki noch erwähnt werden. Weil 7+1GB sind doch schon echt happig fürs System ohne KDE, OO... Im Wiki sollte dort auch noch der Sinn der 2 Partitionen erwähnt werden (neben Swap und Video).
ok, ich weiss, das System selbst belegt nur 2,0GB.
det: Die SS2.3 zeigt in dmesg wie oben sichtbar auch schon Fehler beim Laden der DVB-Treiber. ok, auf'm SNUT wurde mir ja schon gesagt, dass xfer failed normal ist. Na mal sehen, ob EasyVDR sie zum Anzeigen eines Bildes bewegen kann. Ich glaub leider nicht dran...
Dies dürfte dann aber an einem Hw-Defekt liegen und war nicht gegen EasyVDR gemeint
Achso: Da die FB mit Klapp-Tastatur nur F1 und F2 besitzt wäre es nützlich, die VDR-Eingabekonsole auf eine von den beiden umzubelegen, zumindest bei Activys. Das klappt gut, das hatte ich bei meiner vorigen c't Installation schon manuell gemacht (statt der früher und bei vielen immer noch üblichen 8.) und das klappte gut.

Edit: Im Setup-Tool sollte unten eingeblendet werden, dass man mit ESC eine Ebene höher kommt und mit Leertaste einen Punkt auswählt! Es kennt nicht jeder dieses Tool (kannte es halt schon von c't).
Kann ich auch meine eigene channels.conf einspielen? Oder wird die beim Update dann überschrieben? Die aus c't/ tobi 1.4.7 sollte ja wohl funktionieren, oder nicht?

Statt Start sollte es Auswahl lauten, finde ich.
So nach Nutzung des Tools zeigt nur noch der obere Scart die Konsole, der untere gar kein Bild bzw. Schnee und kein Signal-Meldung des TV.
OT: Ist es bei Activy 300ern normal, dass alle Grafikausgänge ein Bild anzeigen, wo links ca. 10 Zeichen außerhalb der Anzeige stehen? Beim VGA kann man das ja noch korrigieren, aber beim Scart?

Meinst Du easyvdrsetup.sh? Das ist mit der beta 0.5 nagelneu hinzugekomme.
Da es noch fleißig weiterentwickelt wird, und es wahrscheinlich auch en Ort wechselt steht nichts im wiki. Im Prinzip steht in der Wiki fast nix über die 0.5 das macht auch keinen sinn, da sich an der 0.5 permanent etwas ändert.
Wenn das Release draußen ist, DANN wird das Wiki geändert.

Hab ich nicht verstanden? Meinst Du nach einer automatischen installation? da fährt die CD raus und der rechner startet neu... Die automatische Installation ist für leute gedacht OHNE Monitor.
Die CD wird eingelegt, der rechner bootet nach 10sek. und startet die autom. Installation, zur bestätigung einmal die CD rausnehmen (um nicht ausversehen alles neu zu installieren) und fertig. Wenn DI D danach rausfährt, weiß man, das die Installation beendet ist.

Was meinst Du mit VDR-Eingabekonsole? Meinst Du das normale Terminal? Ansonsten kann man VDR im OSD-Setup ein anderes Terminal zuweisen. (steht derzeit auf 10 glaube ich)

Wenn Du im setuptool auf Hardware -> Activy gehst, wird ALLES, also auch die FB eingestellt. Du musst bei den anderen Hardwareeinstellungen nichts mehr ändern.

Du musst die channels datei in /etc/vdr/channels einkopieren, diese kannst Du dann entweder über das OSD oder über easyvdrsetup.sh einstellen. Die bleibt solange enthalten, wie kein Update kommt, welches den selben namen trägt, also benennst Du sie besser in etwas so "meine eigene Channels.conf"

Hast Du dir die Ausgabeeinstellung angesehen? Es gibt verschiedene und alle haben einen anderen zweck. Soviel kann man garnicht schreiben

Das Problem hast Du am oberen scart und am VGA wenn Du die Asugabe über TVIA_Overlay machst. Es gibt leider keinen guten allgemeinwert der überall gut funktioniert.

Ich ziehe echt meinen Hut vor den Schaffern von easyVDR. Wir haben gestern die Beta2 erstmals installiert und sind begeistert! Es muss ja unglaublich viel Arbeit darin stecken...
Sorry, dazu vielleicht eine blöde Frage:
Wie kann ich verhindern, dass easyVDR ständig nach dem Starten die FB neu anlernen will bzw. ich eine Taste drücken soll, damit die alte Konfiguration davon geladen wird? Ich benutze die FB an der FF-Karte (mit remote Plugin).
Habe ich irgendwo einen Parameter im OSD übersehen?

Es gibt zwei Einstellungen für Budget-only Activys und ich habe sowohl TVIA als auch TDK getestet.
