Der (fast) perfekte MP3-WLAN-Client

Hab das Teil jetzt seit einigen Wochen im Einsatz, an Hardware:

- NOXON
- D-Link DWL 122 USB Stick

Und an Software:

- ndiswrapper für den WLAN USB Stick
- TwonkyVision als UPNP Server

Funktioniert hier eigentlich fast problemlos, muss mich lediglich jedesmal wenn ich den NOXON anschalte kurz durch den Konfigurationsassistenten klicken damit er den UPnP Server findet. Das scheint wohl aber an der TwonkyVision Software zu liegen und wird vielleicht auch noch gefixed.

Die Verbindung klappt 1a, sogar mit WEP Verschlüsselung.

Internet Streaming funktioniert nicht direkt, das liegt aber daran, dass die WLAN Verbindung einen anderen IP Adressenbereich hat und ich keine Route auf mein normales LAN gesetzt habe.
Das kann man aber ganz leicht umgehen indem man einfach eine Playlist mit einem Internetradio erstellt (wie auch beim VDR MP3 Plugin) und die Playlist dann einfach mit dem NOXON abspielt.

EDIT: Hab Kopfhörer daran angeschlossen was man laut Beschreibung auch nicht sollte.

so, nachdem ich mich mal etwas näher mit dem NOXON Audio beschäftigt habe, finde ich das Teil richtig super...

habe aber gelesen, das es probleme nach dem einschalten gibt??? ist das immer so? oder liegt das am UPnP Server?

scannt taeglich meine mp3 verzeichnisse und legt sie als playliste ab.
ueber apache als webserver greift noxon daruaf zu und spielt wunderbar
ab was immer ich moechte. upnp ist absolut nicht noetig, das ganze tut
wunderbar im schlafzimmer

Habe ich gerade bekommen, habe bei Ebay gekauft.

DIe bl**en AMi haben doch tatsächlich nur ein 110Volt NEtzteil mit 110 Watt Angabe drin. Nun bauche ich wohl eine SPannungswandler auf 230 Volt. Was nimmt man denn da am besten, habt ihr eine guenstige Bezugswquelle?

Da ich weder einen Streaming-Client benutzen wollte (uPnP, schlechte
Soundqualität) und ich eine Multiroomlösung brauchte die bezahlbar ist,
hab ich mir mein eignes Konzept dafür entwickelt.

Ich hab meinem FLI4L als Medienserver mißbraucht. Der läuft eh den ganzen Tag. Aber das mit Deinen "Clients" für die Stereoanlage ist ne gute Idee. Schaltest Du die per IR mit Deinem WakeUp Modul ein und
was läuft denn da auf Deinem PocketPC ?

Das läuft alles über Wlan. Die Remote-Software auf dem Pocket-PC kann über
Wlan jeden Media-Client komplett steuern. Dazu gehört auch das Ein- und
Ausschalten der Clients und der dazugehörigen Verstärker/Receiver.

Auf dem Pocket-PC läuft meine selbstgeschriebene Remote-Software.

Das Klingt ja interessant. Zum Verständnis:
Du hast einen vdr der Sendungen aufnimmt und mit Hilfe des auf diesem System installierten TwonkyVision Mediaserver anderen Streaming-Clients bereitstellt?! Dein Client (Netgear MP101) greift dann auf die dort liegenden Files nativ zu? Es ist keine Konvertierung der VDR-Files notwendig?
