Den Fehle mit DFB habe ich auch.
Mit Xinerama passt was bei dir nicht.
vidix sieht aber ok aus.

i have an nvidia card and I have already install nvidia driver with kanotix, xine let's me see hdtv with too much error..image is not fluid.....how can i resolve this??

Maybe changing the video driver in xine to xxmc or xvmc could solve this.

...ihmo there are may be two reasons for this:

1. Your System is overload (grafikcard and CPU) -> post some more Infos !!
2. The DVB singal is not strong enough -> post the output of femon / femon-plugin
(3. The signal is encrypted)

Hi dacorsa,

yes, I tried it but with no success.
Softdevice crashs directly if I switch to one of the HD-Channels and with xine I have a lot of droped frames.

At this moment, I install the video driver for my ATI-9600 and rebuild xine. If this is finshed I will try again.

Btw: this entrys dont work (vdr is restarting):

Wicky, i have amd 3800+, nvidia 6200 with 256 mb, femon says SNR 75, STR 68, signal is free.

Hi again,

first of all, it does not work really smoth for me. I think, my CPU is not powerfull enough.

But there are some settings with xine you can try:

Disable Deinterlacing
Set your monitor to the native resolution of the video and disable scaling.

Update auf vdr-1.4.2-1 mit bigpatch(ohne lnb-sharing) + settime + submenu + api
Änderungen an x-vdr.sh
Update auf:
- audiorecorder-0.1.0pre5
Downgrade auf:
- vdr-softdevice-0.2.3a (Mit der CVS Version funktioniert die Ausgabe über xv nicht)
- graphlcd-base-snapshot-20060404 (Messages werden mit der neuen Version nicht angezeigt)

Die aktuelle CVS Version des softdevice ist weiter mit dabei. Wer xv nicht braucht, kann den Ordner vor der Installation umbenennen und die Patches zum vergrösseren des OSD benutzen. Mit der "normalen" Version funktionieren diese leider nicht.
