Enigma2PC project - Enigma2 for PC

Hello friends.
For two months I am working on porting the Enigma2 to PC. I started an open-source project called Enigma2PC. I think most of you should know Enigma2 (for example from Dreambox HD receivers).

I posted some information on several boards, but I only got interested on the Russian forum. I'm looking for people interested in the project, especially those that could help in programming.
Project is only for Nvidia cards with VDPAU (maybe not only in the future). More information you can found in "International topic" on the Russian forum (registration is not required).

I intend to continue working on the project, so far as is possible in one person. My goal is only adjust Enigma to receive DVB-S/S2 and DVB-T on PC (and playing recordings). For multimedia playback I use XBMC. So I had to integrate Enigma with XBMC.

And this is actually perfect combination! I don't think there is anything else like Enigma to watch DVB. And there are a lot of programs, which help you to organize your settings (channels). I believe, that might be compatible?

Hallo,

das sieht wirklich Interessant aus. Ich habe unter Arch alles kompiliert bekommen aber leider funktioniert das ganze nur mit VDPAU. Da shab ich erst gesehen als ich enigma2 das erste mal gestartet habe. Ich werde es mal mit einer VDPAU Karte austesten.

Nice work so far. I've seen the enigma2pc test at youtube and compiled it in arch linux. Will you also provide support for xine's software rendering btw. vaapi in the future?

Das ist interessanter projekt , aber ich würde mal folgendes vorschlage : am besten enigma2PC ohne VDPAU testen damit man genau weisst , wo die Schwachstellen um ein stabile non vdpau Version zu entwickeln ..danach würde man vdpau patch programmieren je nach NVIDIA treiber version....

War irgendwie klar .
FullHD und TrueColor sind ne andere Liga fuer ne "CPU" :mua
Ohne ein komplett neues Framework (hardwarebeschleunigt) wird da auch nichts aufregendes kommen.

Liebe Entwickler und Entwickelerin

Warum wird nicht Enigma2PC ohne VDPAU entwickelt ?Denn es gibt eine Menge Leute , ich inbegriffen, die weder VDPAU noch VAAPI Karte besitzen...Mein VDR läuft ohne HD Unterstützung , ich empfange nur DVB-S Kanäle mit einer ganzen normalen DVB-S Karte und 64MB Graphik Karte ... Deshalb würde gerne wissen , ob ohne VDPAU Enigma2PC die Bildqualität verbessert werden kann ....
Das müssen die Entwickler und Experten wissen oder ..

Ich warte auf eure Antwort ...
