Du willst es jetzt aber wissen....

Also wenn:

1.) Ein neuer Kernel rauskommt

2.) Neuere bessere DVB Treiber auftauchen

3.) Anderweitig Änderungen am Kernel notwendig sind

4.) Ich Zeit habe

Dann gibt es, vielleicht, eine neue Version.

I know it's a german forum for a german project but please think about leaving us/uk/whatever keyboard layout in kernel, cause linvdr is really fast but for us, non-german (I'm italian), a fixed german kb layout it's really a pain! especially if you're not a pro linux user!! (y and z swap and no < > or piping signs!)

I also tried this without luck. Thats the reason why i'm hardcoding the German keymap.

I'll look over this and include German and English keymappings in the next (pre) release.

Ich bin zwar deutsch, aber alle Keyboards die ich habe sind englisch. Für Unix-Nutzer ist die dt. Tastaturbelegung PITA....

also dann nützen die setkey Einträge in der menu.lst dann nichts, wenn nicht explizit das Layout im Kernel ist?
Kann man die Keymap nicht in der nächsten Version als modul kompilieren, dann könnte man das doch das "richtige" in grub angeben...

... ich hab bis jetzt die Erfahrung gemacht, daß loadkeys gar nix tut.

Mit den console-tools und setkeycodes konnte ich zumindest die Tasten für meine Activy-Fernbedienung ummappen (die sendet auch Tastaturcodes aus).

Ich hab bis jetzt allerdings noch nicht rausgefunden wie ich vom Scancode den mir showkey (2 x 2 Stellen) anzeigt auf den Scancode komme, den ich bei setkeycodes (4 Stellen) eingeben muß.

Scheint wohl so zu sein.
