lircd2uinput 100% CPU load

  • Hello guys!
I have 100% CPU load in this process.

    Code

Please help to solve this problem:wand

    XBMC#1 OpenELEC 3/ USB Flash 4Gb / DLP Optoma HD200x + Yamaha MovieSet 371 + MCE IR + Harmony 525

  • Please provide more information (syslog, dmesg). I do not see any lirc device in your hardware signature. I have seen something similar to this here: Erfahrungsbericht Zotac H77-ITX WiFi C Series (H77ITX-C-E), Mini-ITX, GT620 onboard - unfortunately there has been no reply if and how the problem has been solved.

  • If I wouldn't see all keys pressed in alphabetic order, I would believe you are sitting on your remote control.

Dann hätte er die aber schnell gedrückt. :D Oder sind das irgendwelche Mappings?

Das ist die Liste der Tasten, die das Programm drücken kann.

I am wondering why the debug mode is active...

  • I use MCE remote + Harmony. This problem took place after installing media-build-experimental-dims

    VDR#1-server yaVDR64-0.5 / GT430 + Digital Devices Cine S2 V6.5/DuoFlex Bundle + SSD + Antec Fusion Remote Max (IR DISABLE) / LG47LW4500 + Yamaha RX-V863 + MCE REMOTE + Harmony 600

  • It might be caused by the kernel oops at [ 4.720621] but I have no idea why udev detects a lirc-device and tries to start lirc and lircd2uinput via /lib/udev/lircd_helper - if you don't use any lirc-devices you can simply delete this file.
Do you really need media-build-experimental-dkms? The TT-1600 cards should work using the kernel-drivers, too.

  • Sorry, forgot to change my signature, now I have Digital Devices Cine S2 V6.5/DuoFlex Bundle .
Thanks for your help, this command solved my problems.

    Code
    rm /lib/udev/lircd_helper

Return to this problem in future , when more then only my problem will be.

  • I have the same failure but with another dvb card (TT S2-6400, Sundtek USB DVB-S2). I use YaVDR with different cards and mainboards but only my Zotac H77-ITX WiFi with Imon Pad with LCD Display and MCE USB remote control has this failure.

To solve this for me, I remove lircd2uinput in /etc/rc.local

Without lircd2uinput I have not kernel failure.

  • Der Tipp von AmiD

    Code
    rm /lib/udev/lircd_helper

    funktioniert bei mir auch zuverlässig.

In welchem Paket steckt lircd_helper drinnen? Eine Suche mit apt-cache und apt-file liefert kein Ergebnis.

    Frodo

  • In welchem Paket steckt lircd_helper drinnen?
