Blue screen in admin interface (firefox)

  • Hello

My German is really bad, so her I go in English, hope that's OK.

I have installed Yadvr0.3 and then it boots up I get the 3 IP television channels, so so far so good.
The problem is, then I start firefox and logs into the admin panel, it only loads a blank blue screen. There fore I am not able to configure any thing.
That have I missed. Can any one give me a clue? Do you need further information of me setup, please let me know.

    Best regards Rantzauer

  • Did you make

    Code
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

    before?

Which language do you use for Installation and Webfrontend?

  • Here same situation on one of two vdrs.

Clean installation yavdr-0.3.0a, no access from two latops IE/FF with or without apt-get update && apt-get upgrade, of course a german installation. See also

Funny thing, the Webfrotend of the other vdr installed from same media works pretty fine.

    Same situation after three installations.

rantzauer: for initial setup the webinterface works fine by firefox, started from the vdr menu by keyboard. you can access it via localhost as well as via network ip the the vdr.

  • yes it was saved, i checked from the localhost FF, but no change from the laptops browser, unfortunately :(

Is there anything else i can check or is it helpful to open a port (later this week) that you check the webinterface from outside?

This topic is more or less one of the last issues i have with your distribution. - Anyway, glad to hear that I'm not the only one with this problem...

    Be welcome.

I expect that you will volunteer for translating the webfrontend to danish now, won't you?
