lcdproc Problem nach linVDR 0.7 Update (NECD16314AGJ_011 VFD)

    Hallo,


    habe ein Silverstone Gehäuse mit einem NECD16314AGJ_011 16x2 VFD Display (das Gleiche, wie bei den Dign Gehäusen). Nach dem Update auf linVDR 0.7 funzen jedoch meine konfig-Daten nicht mehr, die die ganze Zeit liefen....

    Nachdem ich mit diesen - bislang funzenden Konfigdaten - neu Starte, nachdem ich im Setup lcdproc aktiviert habe, bekomme ich die Meldung...

    Was habe ich anders gemacht, als bei linVDR 0.6, wo es funzte?
    Unter 0.6 hatte ich lcdproc manuell nachinstallieren und von Hand einen Eintrag in der rcStart machen müssen, danach liefs ... bei 0.7 ist es serienmäßig dabei, daher habe ich es nur im setup aktiviert.

    ich hab ein 4*20 lcd am start und musste folgendes ändern, damit es läuft:


    execute /usr/bin/LCDd &


    so läufts bei mir (find sei dank)

    Hatte genau das Problem, aber konnte es damit nicht beheben.Ich habe den LCDproc Server mal manuel gestartet und habe dabei mal festgestellt das die LCDd.conf nicht OK war. Habe dann mal eine neue drüber gebügelt und schon rannte der Server.

    ich hab das problem das mein display ein hd44780 mit winamp verkabelung nur komische zeichen auf den ganzen display anzeigt? in der LCDd.conf habe ich aber alles richtig eingestellte druckerport,4x20,.....


    woran kann das liegen komm nicht mehr weiter

    die verkabelung (winamp) habe ich nochmal nachgeschaut die ist ok. die stromversorgung düfte eigentlich auch ok sein habe ich über usb angeschlossen die sollen angeblich max 500mA liefern das sollte eigentlich reichen für das display. werde es aber ma anders anschliessen. vielleicht hilft das ja

    konnte erst jetzt wieder ausprobieren. lag tatsächlich an der stromversorgung. hätte ich nicht gedacht da die USB-Ports bis max 500mA belastbar sind ( alle zusammen). naja jetzt läufts erst mal. habe ich jetzt am netzteil angeschlossen. vielen dank für die info

    ... per Definition schon, nur halten sich nicht viele Hersteller daran. Außerdem kann es auch sein, daß alle USBs zusammen nur so viel ziehen können ... sehr viel mögliche Grauzone :) Egal hauptsache es funzt...

    Mit der Anleitung http://www.jepsennet.de/vdr/html/lcdproc.html funktioniert es leider nicht!


    Mir scheint die Datei LCDd aus dem woody und sarge Archiv passt nicht zur Version 0.7.


    Freue mich über Tipps.
