@aleo wenn du meins schon hast, dann lass es.
die unterschiede sind warscheinlich den aufwand nicht wert ....
gda hat halt vdr mit dem extensions patch gedopt
und mein vdr hat multipatch.
frag mich nicht nach den unterschieden...
einen weiss ich sicher
multipatch hat kein parentalrating, extensions hat ihn

war nun doch etwas zu neugierig 
ging ja e schnell, einfach vdr xine und nvidia-treiber deinstallieren, repo austauschen und die neuen pakete installieren
etwas komisches habe ich allerdings noch:
wenn ich auf ORF1-HD schalta, ruckelt es sicher 10 Sekunden, danach läuft es flüssig
das Signal ist 720p aber mit hoher Bitrate
Anixe HD und HD Suisse laufen sofort flüssig

Ein Vorteil unseres gemeinsamen Repositories, ist vielleicht dass es von mir manchmal das ein oder andere Plugin zuerst gibt. Wie PearlHD, tvm2vdr, vdrsymbols-ttf .... Ich kopiere oder recompiliere nicht ausschließlich Pakte, sondern erstelle auch eigene.

das ist praktisch :-) denn das debianisieren ist glaube ich ja gar kein so geringer Arbeitsaufwand 
dank apt-get source kann man sich aber zumindest in ein paar sekunden auch einen zusätzlichen Patch einspielen
(habe ich mit text2skin für pearlhd bis vor kurzem auch so gemacht)

ohne tomg/tobi würde es das repo aber auch nicht geben !
(die arbeit von beiden ist wahnsinn !!!! das sieht man aber erst, wenn man sich mit den paketen mal näher beschäftigt...)

ich will morgen das repo auch mal testen.

naja lief vorhin schon nicht ganz einwandfrei :-)
habe einfach die perfekten parameter für mein System einfach noch nicht raus und wollte da gerade bei der Gelegenheit mal weiterprobieren, nur dass es 10sec lang stockt war neu, wobei das auch schon wieder besser geworden ist... :-)

@all gda war gestern fleissig
die fehlenden plugins, die bisher das zusammenspiel mit karmic
und vdr-1.7.9 verweigerten lassen sich jetzt kompilieren.
(sind aber ungetestet)
die wären:
- vdr-plugin-vodcatcher
- vdr-plugin-podcatcher
- vdr-plugin-xxvautotimer
- graphlcd-base
beim graphlcd-plugin ist immer noch das problem mit den fonts
das lässt sich aber leicht lösen, evtl. bis heute abend.........

hi,
I just have some questions (sorry that I'm writing english, but my written german is awful).
I'm waiting the hw, and I started wondering what shoud I install to have a good htpc...
I though about ubuntu with XBMC, and then vdr to use the dvb-c card I got (even for HD content)...
Obviously I will install directly karmic...
I read some posts in this forum, which happen to be interesting... but at the moment I'm really confused!
let's say I want to install xine 1.2, vdr 1.7.9 and xbmc-pvr... which ones of the repository should I use?
Or it is better to use another config?

it is your choice, but i think for future vdr versions
the extensionspatch variant is better "supportet"

Hi,
find das Repository klasse, hab den VDR und XBMC gleich mal installiert, laeuft prima.
Ist irgendwann mal geplant, die Umschaltung zwischen beiden ueber das SwitchTV-Script zu integrieren?

Nicht sehr wahrscheinlich, ich benutze was Eigenes, der SwitchTV-Skript muss erstmal beweisen, das er besser ist, wenn ich ihn denn finde.
