Tt S2-3200 J3

    Does anybody here know anything about the Connector on the CI of the TT S2-3200 which is labeled as "J3"?
    I see that the TT S2-3200 also has a ~similar~ Connector on it near the bottom left- It unlike the CI however is not labeled.


    Could this "Port" be used as a slave to tap into a second TT S2-3200??


    Or is it more likely that this is just for diagnostic testing?

    Both are JTAG-Connectors.
    They had been used to load the firmware into programmable components (the iM4A3 CLPD on the CI; the MSP430 UC used for decoding the IR-remote-signal on the DVB-Card) when manufacturing the card.
    In normal operation this connectors are quiet use less.

    Thanks for the heads up, that was kinda what I was expecting it to be. But, I was ~kinda~ hoping, that this might had been something along the lines of the J2 on the Nexus.


    Well at least I now know what they're supposed to be used for... :/
