vdr newbe questions

    HI ALL!
    i have Technotrend SkyStar1 (rev. 1.5) Full featured card and SkyStar2 budget card, is this gona work whit VDR ?


    i installed linVDR but this is not working :(


    is there someone whit this card(s) and app VDR and it`s working ?
    maybe someone know web site how-to install VDR? in english ?

    I can't think of no reasion why it shouldn't.
    Ok One thing does pop up, how old is your SS2, IIRC there were problems with Card above Rev 2.8 as there is no Conxtant Driver avalible for it. You coud start here:

    But your SS1 should be A-OK, I use a TT-S2300 Rev2.3 Card and a KNC1 DVB-C Card under Gen2VDR (with a Soft CAM Scrip Instaler), and both work out of the BOX!

    my card SS2 is DVB-S PCI Technisat SkyStar 2 rev 2.6


    SkyStar1 is on PCI


    distro what i used is whit "build-in" VDR = linVDR, VDR4YOU.


    i used Debian Etch 4.0 on my PC.


    question : is there VDRLive gona work whit this card`s ? whitout messing around on installed VDRLive ? : D

    I am not quiet sure if the installation can be done in english language, but give it a try. This should not mess up with your existing partitions an should supprt your rev 1.5 card out-of-the-box.
