folgendes habe ich bis jetzt gemacht: Im Setup Lirc und danach AtiUSB ausgewaehlt. Als FB habe ich eine MEdion 81302 gewaehlt, da es auch eine X10 FB ist. die lirc.conf ist unter etc/. In der remote.conf habe ich alles mit lirc.xxx geloescht.
Wunderbar, nun kommt beim Neustart die Abfrage. Druecke ich aber nun eine Taste auf der FB, passiert rein garnix

ich besitze auch einen Digitainer II mit einer FB X10. Diese hat auch mit dem org. Betriebssystem (Linspire) funktioniert. Seit ich allerdings easyvdr verwende bekomme ich sie nicht in gang.
Folgende Hardwareänderungen habe ich durchgeführt:

Egal welche Taste ich auf der FB drücke und wie nah ich am Digitainer bin, es tut sich nix. Was kann ich noch tun? Aktuell bediene ich das Gerät über ein USB-Keyboard.

Ihr solltet beide mal überprüfen, ob der USB Empfänger vom System erkannt wird.
Abhängig von eurer Distribution solltet ihr das Programm lsusb haben.
Damit werden alle erkannten USB Geräte aufgelistet.
In der Liste sollte der Empfänger enthalten sein.
Wenn dies nicht der Fall ist, dann gibt es zwei Möglichkeiten:
Das zweitere Problem hatte ich bei meinem System.
Unter
Device Driver --> USB
sollte EHCI,UHCI,OHCI aktiviert sein.
War in meinem Default-Kernel nicht so.
Sieht dann so aus, dass bei lsusb nur der root hub angezeigt.

wenn du lsmod aufrufst, ist da dann das Modul ati_remote dabei?
Das Kernelmodul beißt sich mit LIRC.
Du kannst es entweder blacklisten oder beim Kernel rausnehmen.
(Sollte unter Event Interface drinnen sein).

Ja, das hab ich mir schon zig-mal durchgelesen. Nur gibt es da 2 Probleme:
1) Ich bin kein Linuxmann
2) Ich habe eine MCE-FB
Zu 1) Es wird immer besser
zu 2) Da finde ich keine fertige lircd.conf
Ich habe aus der remote.conf schon alle lirc.xxx Eintraege entfernt. Es kommt also jetzt immer beim Neustart brav die Aufforderung, eine Taste zu druecken.
Aber ich glaube, mein Problem erkannt zu haben:
mount usbfs .....wo trage ich ein, dass dieses schon beim Start gemountet wird?

Die remote.conf ist das config File was VDR verwendet.
Die lircd.conf ist das config File was LIRC verwendet.
Beide confs haben erstmal nix miteinander zu tun.
Du musst erstmal LIRC als Daemon mit ner funktionierenden (für deine FB) /etc/lircd.conf haben.
Du kannst mit
auf ner Konsole dir ne neue lircd.conf erstellen.
Die zu deiner FB passt.

das habe ich als Ergebnis:

irrecord: could not open /dev/lirc
irrecord: default_init(): Device or resource busy

somit kann ich es wohl nicht konfigurieren Die Anleitung habe ich mir mal durchgelesen, aber ich habe doch USB?!

/edit wie soll ich eine funktionierende /etc/lircd.conf bekommen? Ich finde fuer meine FB (MCE) keine lircd.conf
