was muß ich bei den dvb/lnb-einstellungen beachten? muß ich irgendwie ne 2. channels.conf haben?
man kann ja einstellen 1. karte 1. lnb, 2. karte 2. lnb etc, primäres device ist die ff natürlich...
ich habe ein quattro-lnb zum direkten anschluß von recivern, muß ich dann jeweils das 1. lnb nehmen? im moment quittiert mir das system eine aufnahme mit nem absturz, logread sagt signal lost (logisch, habe noch kein 2. kabel dran)...

Karte benutzt 1. LNB einträgst, dann kannst Du auch mit der zweiten Karte aufnehmen (bei zwei Karten wird immer die zweite Karte als erstes für eine Aufnahme herangezogen.
ACHTUNG: Asl vorsichtsmassnahme: Fahre den PC herunter und zieh den Netzstecker bevor Du die Koax-Kabel verbindest. Die FF 1.3 verzeiht keine Kurzschlüsse am LNB Ein-/Ausgang (Ich spreche da aus eigener Erfahrung)

Die Einstellungen für die Zuordnung LNB <-> DVB-Karte sagt dem System nur, wie und wo aufgenommen werden kann ->LNB-Sharing patch. Damit ist es möglich, mit Zwei Karten an einem Kabel aufzunehmen und der VDR weiß dann auch, wenn eine Pol.-Ebene wg einer Aufnahme belegt ist, die andere dann nicht geht.
Solange Du an der zweiten Karte kein Kabel hast, werden alle Aufnahmen fehlschlagen, da standardmässig Aufnahmen immer auf der zweiten Karte gestartet werden wenn eine Verfügbar ist. Du kannst Natürlich in den Kanaleinstellungen aller Kanäle den Wert für CA auf DVB1 stellen, dann wird immer die erste Karte benutzt......oder kurze Antwort auf Deine letzte Frage: Ja!

so lange du nur ein Sat-Kabel angeschlossen hast, solltest du im Setup unter Erweitert als Parameter "-D 0" eintragen. Damit benutzt VDR lediglich die Full-Featured.
Hast du das zweite Kabel gezogen, entfernst du den Parameter einfach wieder. Und was hier zum LNB-Sharing-Patch gesagt wurde, ist hinfällig, weil es ihn bei LinVDR nicht gibt.

habe nun erstmal mit nem loop-kabel die zweite sat-karte angeklemmt und die beiden karten aufs 1. lnb gestellt. nun funktioniert auch z.b. osd-pip was mir die kiste vorher mit nem absturz quittiert hat.

einige kanäle (gehe davon aus die der selben polarisation) sind trotzdem gesperrt, das liegt aber wohl an dem nicht vorhandenem 2. kabel zum lnb.
nur: was haben die fehlermeldungen zu sagen? timeout und stop_dma hört sich nicht wirklich lustig an. oder liegt das daran das ich noch den livebuffer am rennen habe und die karte sich langweilt und den irq freigibt?
