    Hm, ohne ACPI und APIC sind es wie eh und je 16 IRQs, die es unter der Hardware zu verteilen gilt. Da das manchmal knapp wird, teilt sich einige Hardware einen IRQ. Das führt manchmal zu Problemen.


    Mit ACPI und APIC gibt es ein paar mehr IRQs (weiß nicht, wieviele da möglich sind). Meine beiden DVB-Karten sind z.B. jetzt auf IRQ 17 und 19, vorher hat die eine sich einen mit der Netzwerkkarte geteilt und die andere mit der Soundkarte.


    Ich hab' jetzt ACPI und APIC wieder aktiv und die Karte hat sich den 17ner geholt..... schau'n mer mal ... bis jetzt läuft's noch. Ich nehm gerade Jackie Chan auf und danach "Collateral Damage"mit Arny :).

    ich habe die beiden Pakete installiert. Nach dem starten sah zunächst alles ganz gut aus, sogar Bild uind Ton.
    Nach dem ersten Programmwechsel war dann kein Bild mehr da.
    Die Anzeige des Senders war in grau in doppelter Größe
    Das Menü war in den üblichen FArben, - jedenfalls soweit ich dass bei einem viertel der Größe erkennen konte.


    Ich bin ratlos.

    ich hatte bis jetzt Probleme, meinen USB Card Reader zum laufen zu bewegen (dachte ich).


    Beim mounten der Karte bekam ich immer folgende Meldung:

    Alle Module, wie in diversen Threads beschrieben, waren geladen. Im Log bin ich nun auf folgendes gestossen:

    Testweise habe ich die Karte mal mit ext3 formatiert. Das hat funktioniert und die Karte lies sich mounten.
    Eigentlich dürften sich überhaupt keine FAT-Partitionen mounten lassen und der Card Read ist völlig in Ordnung.
    Nach meinem (Kernelcompilierhalb-)Wissen nach, würde ich vermuten, dass irgendein Modul fehlt (cp437 ?!?).


    Vieleicht könnte der Kernel-König (Hallo DarkAngel) mal einen Blick auf das Problemchen werfen.

    PS: Ich möchte nicht müde werden, mich bei DarkAngel zu bedanken. Manche vergessen doch immer wieder, dass das Bereitstellen von solchen Packen ein Heidenaufwand ist. Und dann muss man sich auch noch ständig das Bitten und Quengeln der anderen (mich eingeschlossen) anhören.

    hat super funktioniert. Das Ganze noch in die /etc/fstab eingetragen, dann klappt's auch mit der Nachbarin.

  • Ich hatte den Kernel 2.6.5 von www.linvdr.org, und habe heute den Kernel installiert. Dabei gibts Probleme mit der externen Harddisk, die am USB-Port hängt, die nicht mehr korrekt erkannt wird.

    An der Hardware oder so habe ich nichts geändert, wenn ich den Kernel wieder deinstalliere, ist alles wieder "normal".

    Ach ja, die externe Harddisk geht nun, aber die Fehlermeldung (PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 4 of device ...) bleibt. Mir ist zwar (seit Laden von sd_mod) noch kein Fehlverhalten aufgefallen, aber grundlos wird sie auch nicht kommen, oder?

    Ach ja, die externe Harddisk geht nun, aber die Fehlermeldung (PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 4 of device ...) bleibt. Mir ist zwar (seit Laden von sd_mod) noch kein Fehlverhalten aufgefallen, aber grundlos wird sie auch nicht kommen, oder?


    Ich weiß auch nicht, was der Fehler bedeutet. Jedenfalls scheint es sich auf den SMBus zu beziehen.

    habe mir auch grad mal den Update eingespielt und laufe auch auf den Fehler, dass kein Device mehr gefunden wird.


    Ich habe makedev-dvb.sh ausgeführt und und die Files haben auch die Nummer 212.
    Und im runvdr steht bei MODULES auch ves1x93 drin. Mehr finde ich dazu über die Suchfunktion leider nicht. Weiß jemand noch Rat?

    Reboot geht auch nicht mehr es wird zwar der VDR gestoppt aber bei restarting system
    friert der Rechner ein. Nachdem ich den Rechner aus- und wieder eingeschaltet habe gibt logread dann folgendes aus.

    Das abspielen von CD´s geht übrigens weiter hin nicht. Hat einer eine Ahnung was hier falsch läuft? Für Hilfe wäre ich sehr dankbar

    Ich bin auch ne Pappnase. Stimmt! Jetzt weiß ich auch, warum. Hatte schonmal versucht auf 2.6.5 upzudaten aber da hatte ich dann Probleme mit meinem NIC (r8169). Jedes Mal, wenn ich per SSH drauf wollte, fror mir die Kiste komplett ein und ich musste aus-/einschalten.

    Irgendwie gabs da auch einige Vorschläge. Nur ACPI möchte ich nicht grad deaktivieren. Das brauch ich doch für den Wakeup. NVRAM geht bei mir irgendwie nicht so gut.
    Und mit der Kompiliererei hab ich bei LinVDR ja nicht mehr so viel am Hut mangels Entwickler-System.
    Weiß jemand, ob man da noch nen Patch einkompilieren müsste?
