I suggest you creat first a image and test it with dvdselect, xine or mplayer,
if nothing went wrong, just burn the iso on dvd.
OK thanks.
I have seen articles on writing more than one movie to a single DVD do i just do that when I do mkisofs?
TIA
Tony
search for vdrconvert that one uses scripts where u can create a DVDiso per OSD menu.
of course with more than one recording too
But vdrconvert will only work with VDR files. It seems to me that kiwi wants to burn movies from different DVDs onto one single DVD. So vdrconvert will not help.
as topic says "recording to DVD" so i figured out that it would be vdr recordings correct me if im wrong
That is right these are films recorded from the BBC which I want to save to DVD.
I have made my first DVD image with no problem at all. It is even quite fast on my hush epia-m 10000 (about 20 minutes in all). Film is "bugs life" and is about 2 Gb.
Now I shall tackle getting another film in the same image.
Cheers
Tony
Is this for beginners???
Looks good but I can't put the day into setting it up and learning how to use it.
Tony
well i tried to install vdr convert and had loads of missing files? anyone got an english tut on how to install it??
Hello Daveangel (I've seen you elsewhere ;D)
The plugin installs very easily and has all the files. If it is reporting missing files on compile then it needs other packages installed in the system.
What is it asking for ? What sort of setup are you using (eg is it a pc or an activy box) ?
