Scaleo E and display vfd

Hi,

That depends on the display. I think the lcdproc Plugin should work. How is it connected? The targavfd Plugin was used also, but I don't think it works anymore. It is not delivered.

I have lcdproc .But i don't know what drivers use for this display ?

I have here a Machine from Medion MD8800 with VFD Display running. with easyVDR 3.0

1X Medion MB MS7204 Rev 1A Micro-BTX BIOS 1.0N CPU LGA775 P4 D945 3,4GHz (P4 3,0GHz 81,9W CPU Mark 355 Pb 2237),81 2x 1GB DDR2 Mb 3762,58 Mt 2662,68 Medion MD 8800 Titanium

Install Procedure:

stopvdr

apt-get update

apt-get install lcdproc

edit /etc/LCDd.conf (with the right Display and Parameters)

reboot

aktivate LCDproc

reboot

You need Information about your VFD Display. Can you make a Photo please

And the Input way USB, RS232, LPT......

You can also try to run the targavfd plugin with a patch for the dm140vfd display... I can't say if the patch still works with the current version.
