Microsoft MCE remote problem

    Hi,
    Having problem to get my microsoft MCE remote to work correctly under yavdr 0.4. Some keys working (up, down, left, right, ok, channel up/down and sound), but i cant get number keys, the color keys or menu keys to work. I tryed to read the manual (http://www.yavdr.org/documentation/de/ch02s02.html), but i dont understand German. Even tryed google translate, but it come out like rubbis, could not understand mutch... I have also tryed 'ir-keytable -t' and got '1319894562.378159: event key up: KEY_GREEN (0x018f)' so it looks like its working but VDR does not respond. XBMC does not respond to any of thees buttons ether. Can somebody please help me and point me in the right direction?

    Which MS MCE transmitter do you use? Picture possible?


    And which receiver do you use? USB-ID?

    Yes, I kind off know these transmitters, I do have the older Microsoft version here (w/o RGYB keys) and that one, but the version w/o the second power button.

    Is it a specific key mapping for your own personal purpose (XBMC?) or should we overtake this for general usage?

    I made these additions to get some basic keys working like numbers or menu key. Same problem as pickitup posted.
    So personally I would tend to say it is bug ? but not 100% sure. I use logitech Harmony with the MicrosoftWindows Media Center Profile and the same remote as pickitups picture.
    Maybe some other peoble out there use a different remote, and the default evmap for the reciever works fine for them ???? difficult to judge.

    Well, the collections of maps are not finished for eventlirc and all mappings are suggestions.


    But since two guys are missing something fundamental, I would say there should be something changed. So, this solution did work for you both, therefore I would suggest to post this to our bugtracker as feature request.

    Hi,
    I am using the same remote control (Microsoft Model 1039).
    After a lot off attempts without success I found this thread and now most of the keys are working fine.
    Did someone complete the mapping, especially the keys "TV AUFZEICHNUNGEN", "EPG", "LIVE TV" and "DVD MENÜ"?
    I don't understand the context in detail.
