Is it possible to LinVDR work with only Buddget card? 1.7GHz Celeron with 1G memory and Terretec cinergy 1200T-DVB-T card? Output will be in FujitsuSiemens 32" lcd-tv with VGA-input. What kernel will work with this system. I have succesfully scanned channells but nothing came to monitor? I have integ graphiccard, is that a problem?
Mahlzeit works OSD-time and aspect problem

How good is your german? Probably the link "Softdevice auf LinVDR-0.7" from my Sig. could do the trick!

With Mahlzeit-ISO 4beta2 it should be possible to get this config running with softdevice or xine. Just install and do the setup, it will scan which output can be used. Perhaps you have to do some fine tuning afterwards (e.g. choose another, better Framebuffer-Module for your card).

MarkusPS: Beware of some problems in this version, e.g. with Realtek Network cards. Read the 1. posting in the thread for Mahlzeit-ISO 4beta carefully.

Scan function, offcourse, dos not work. So no channels is set.

What card do you exactly have? What is the output of "lspci -v" and "lspci -vn"? Please attach these outputs, I will have a look on them. and the file log.txt from command "logread > /pub/export/log.txt" just after VDR has started.
You can change the language of VDR in /etc/vdr/setup.conf (I think it is "language = 0" for english) or even in the OSD (Press "m", then go to System->Einstellungen->OSD).

Is it possible to get a network connection for your VDR system? Because you need to update some packages (bugfixes). Just delete /root/.linvdrupdaterrc and call "linvdrupdater.sh".
cu
MarkusPS: The cause why your VDR isn't running: It looks like that your System has a Ralink WLAN card and this card is recognized as the DVB Card. After installed the updates, it should hopefully OK.
-
I removed ralink card. And it was not installed first but problem was same. I try to update. (Have to carry it to basement and connect to eth)
I get back in 10 minutes

DVB Works. But no sound. System came also very slow(Looks better now). Softdevice is a bit strange.Terminal is left behind vdr, need write blindly /etc/init.d/runvdr stop, then it hold's still. Picture has strips(Maybe signal prob.) Usb and dvb has same IRQ is that a problem?
-
Everything else is working fine exept sound. Tell me what to do. What files you guru's need. Please help me. Is there some configuration to make about softdevice and sound.
-
Looks like that your Sound hardware didn'ät get initialised. Please check with "lsmod | grep snd-intel8x0" if your Soundcard module is loaded. I must have a look into the sources to see if there is a problem/bug while loading the soundmodules.
If the module isn't loaded automatically, try following:
Stop VDR with "/etc/init.d/runvdr stop"
Load Module with "modprobe snd-intel8x0"
Start VDR with "/etc/init.d/runvdr start"If you can now hear sound, you can add the module "snd-intel8x0" to /etc/modules, then it will be loaded at system startup until I have a bugfix for this.
Otherwise, try gambling with "alsamixer", perhaps the sound card is muted or at low volume by default
