[gelöst] vdr restart alle 15 Sekunden

Liebe Leser!

Ich habe auf Debian (stable+testing) mit Kernel
$ uname -a
Linux Squeeze 2.6.32-5-686 #1 SMP Sat May 5 01:33:08 UTC 2012 i686 GNU/Linux

$ vdr --version
vdr (1.7.26/1.7.26) - The Video Disk Recorder

board: Hauppauge Nova-S-Plus DVB-S [card=37]

laufen, und nachdem der vdr vorher über Wochen nonstop stabil gelaufen war,
hat er neulich Probleme gehabt, EPG-Informationen zu bekommen.
(Etwa zeitgleich mit einem Reboot und der Abschaltung der
Analog-Astra-Kanäle -- kann das einen Einfluss haben?)

Nach einem Reboot habe ich nun den Effekt, dass der vdr alle 15 Sekunden neu startet
ohne mir zu verraten warum.
Im Syslog schaut es so aus:

(Allerdings ohne dass ich sagen könnte, in welchem Zustand der Tuner der Karte gerade ist)

libfontconfig1 ist gerade ins testing gewandert, wenn du das aus testing hast kommt nen VDR Bug zum tragen.

Ich sehe, dass Unstable auf 1.7.27-2 ist -- ist da der Bug draußen? Immerhin hat es eine Abhängigkeit
zu libfontconfig1 >=2.9?
Kann ich das installieren, ohne mir allzu viele Sachen aus Unstable hinterherzuolen?
Oder kann ich das Problem anders sinnvoll lösen?

Wobei, wenn ich das recht sehe wäre das bei dir der Umstieg von dem 1.6er VDR auf den 1.7er. Ist nen großer Schritt.

Kannst du mit fontconfig nicht einfach wieder auf stable gehen?

Alternativ kannst du da 1.6 VDR Paket bei dir lokal mit dem Patch (sind nur 2 Zeilen Code zum ändern) bauen.

Hm, da hast du wohl recht

Ich hatte nur das gesehen http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/vdr

Na, wenn der VDR eh aus testing kommt dann sollte der Versuch ihn aus unstable zu nehmen ja nicht schaden.

Edit: Ahm... testing hat 1.7.26-1 (mit dem fontconfig Bug), wobei testing die problematische fontconfig Version hat (seit kurzem). Also ist das kein selbsverschuldetes Problem (durch stable/testing mixen (wie ich bisher annahm)) sondern das vdr Paket in testing hat einfach nen Bug (vdr in testing dürfte dann ja bei niemanden funktionieren). Also am besten dort im Bugtracker posten so das 1.7.26-1 upgedatet wird (sollte kein Problem sein den Patch dort reinzuwerfen).

Ich habe jetzt vdr von unstable geholt, und einige Plugins auch mit,
und jetzt schaut es schon wieder richtig gut aus.
live gibt mir wieder Webseiten und das EPG baut sich auch Stück für Stück wieder auf.
