Hi.
I can see and hear all the channels with yavdr except one of them. It is an HD channel and sound can not be heared. In my tv the sound goes well but not in yavdr.
What aditional information can I give to solve the problem.
Thanks

which hd channel?
your channels.conf...
you have dvb-c!
do you "update channels" with "names and pids"
logfiles from changing to TVE-HD Pruebas?!

I tuned channel when I installed the dvb-t usb pctv nanoStick but I have not done any additional updates. How can I have tuned a dvb-c channel without a dvb-c hardware?.
I tried to update channels with the plugin wirbelscan but it always says "Can not Scan - Timers on Schedule!", Even when no timers are scheduled.
Is there another way to update channels without wirbelscan?

...sorry, it was my fault. dvb-c and dvb-t are using nearly the same frequency...
in the osd/system/setup you can change "update channels" to "names and pids"

I have configured "update channels" --> add transponders
Do I change it to "names and pids" ?
yes...

yes...
Done. I restarted vdr but the sound is not heard.
I just intalled plugin reelchannelscan and I am going to try another rescan of channels with the option changed to "names and pids".
Rescanned with no luck, the channel keep without sound.
When I go to osd/6-System/3-Monitoring DVD signal, in the information of flux, in video codec appears H.264, but in audio codec do not appears anything.
Could be a different codec of audio that is not installed by default in yavdr?
Maybe post you logfiles, when you switch to that channel.
switch to channel 16 TVE HD Pruebas:

Can you switch to another audio track on that channel? Maybe they send in Dolby Digital, does your TV support DD?
Can you try watching the channel in XBMC Live tv? I have the same problem with another channel"Nova Cinema HD".

XBMC says channel can not be played and a shutdown of XBMC is done. The rest of the channels can be played correctly.

I have changed to another audio track but with the same result.
My tv is a Panasonic tx-p42g20e and it seems to support "DTS digital output , Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital (AC3)"

Is the channel encrypted? If so and you have the means to decrypt it, then try more than one time and the channel will appear eventually.

No, the channel is not encrypted. It can be seen but it can no been heard with yavdr. In my tv the channel can be seen and heard correctly.
I can confirm the channel sound is Dolby Digital Plus.
Then, does not yavdr support Dolby Digital sound?
Can be installed the codecs?
It has been confirmed to us that EAC3 sound is causing problems, it has also been confirmed to us that unpatched vdr is not having the problem. What of the patches ist causing it we dont know yet. there is no channel available on Astra 19.2E with which we could debug this, so we need someone able to receive such a channel willing to debug it. We will then incorporate any findings.
We have approx 40 Patches, some more likely causing it then others, it would be required to recompile vdr without some of the patches one by one and possibly recompiling the plugins used and then try it again.
Might not be the answer you like, but thats the status, maybe we can find some time to make some guesses you could prove later.
