Hallo zusammen,
ich habe das Asus M3N78-VM (NICHT EM!). Momentan habe ich ein Debian Lenny mit etobi vdr stable (1.6.x) am laufen.
Den streamdev-server habe ich für xbmc gepatched, VDPAU installiert und xbmc-pvr-testing installiert.
Funktioniert eigentlich alles super, das einzige was momentan irgendwie nicht funktioniert ist der sound aus xbmc, ich bekomme beim abspielen von Videos oder beim Live-TV (aus xbmc) immer "failed to initialze audio - check settings".
Als Kernel habe ich 2.6.29.2 mit der Konfig von wbreu für das M3N78-EM.
Alsa habe ich selbst kompiliert:

In der "/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base" habe ich auch "options snd-hda-intel model=6stack-dig" eingefügt (keine Ahnung, ob das richtig ist für das -VM).

Diese conf habe ich aus irgendeinem Howto welches eigentlich für das -EM Board gedacht war.
Ich möchte am liebsten folgende Konstellation haben:
- Ton über SPDIF
- BILD über HDMI
(Ton brauche ich nicht über HDMI)
Im BIOS (die neuste Version: 1305, 2009/07/23) steht bei Southbridge-Einstellungen "Internal/External Codec".
So, jetzt zu meiner Frage:
Hat überhaupt jemand den optischen SPDIF hinten am Mainboard beim M3N78-VM Board am laufen?
Bei mir ist nicht einmal das Licht am SPDIF an, HDMI kann ich mangels Hardware nicht testen.
