wichtig ist, das erstmal der alte mist von nvidia runterfliegt wie beim xbmc post beschrieben!
ich hab hier auch karmic koala und hatte die gleichen "probleme" ....

ja gibt es da öfter mal (xbmc.org) , ist meistens nach ein paar minuten wieder "gut"
Dann will ich hoffen dass ich das nach der Anleitung hinbekomme

du hast doch schon die antwort .
nvidia treiber 180.51 und das modul im kernel hat 180.44
also was schlisen wier daraus ?
hier gibt es nur 1 beim bau des nvidia trebers hatest du fehler und er hat das modul nicht gebaut

da wird hauptsächlich erklärt wie man ALLES nvidia mässiges runterbekommt!
WICHTIG auch die treiber von hier nehmen:
https://launchpad.net/~thefirstm/+archive/ppa
man hat des öfteren eine "abhängigkeit" von libvdpau, und die ist im treiber
paket !!!!! aber nicht im treiber von nvidia......
