    habe das hier
    <M> Intel 440LX/BX/GX, I8xx and E7x05 chipset support
    auch mal als modul gemacht aber bei lsmod steht trotzdem nichts

    Nein, lsmod zeigt dir nur was aktuell geladen ist.


    Laden kannst du per

    Code
    modprobe i810

    dann kann lsmod es zeigen. Sollte aber keinen Unterschied machen, ob du das fest in den Kernel integrierst oder nicht. In beiden Fällen solltest du mal per dmesg prüfen, ob es Fehler beim laden gibt.


    Wie hast du denn deine xorg.conf erstellt? Ist die config, die mit startx geladen wird auch aktuell? Hast du mal die Config aus dem Configure oben benutzt? Also so gestartet:

  • Welche Module du nun für die Grafik gebaut hast, kannst du so sehen:

    ls /lib/modules/`uname -r`/video


    und dann mal per modprobe laden. Danach kannst du per dmesg sehen ob es geklappt hat.

    Aber wo ist nun das Modul für i915? Hast du das nun doch integriert, oder als Modul einzeln? Genau das suchen wir doch gerade, oder? Dieses müsstest du ja integrieren, oder halt einzeln per modprobe laden...

  • Da sieht man nur dass er den Treiber kompiliert (nicht als Modul).


    Hast du denn den Kernel in dieser Variante (integriert) einmal komplett kompiliert und auch aktuell mit Neustart geladen?

  • Der Bootscreen wird in Standardauflösungen gezeigt, für höhere Auflösungen mit X oder Framebuffer ist dann jeweils ein eigenes Treibermodul nötig.


    Die USE Flags sollten so reichen... Kommen denn am Ende vom Emerge für xf86-video-intel irgendwelche Fehler oder Warnungen?
