Ok, ein Problem hab ich wohl gefunden....
Ich habe nvram-wakeup von Hand installiert, direkt aus den Quellen, gestern abend jedoch dann auch als apt-get Paket um zu sehen ob es damit geht.
Jetzt hab ich 2 Installationen - und obwohl ich die Quellinstallation entfernt habe scheint es da noch Probleme zu geben:
/usr/local/sbin/guess-helper gibt es gar nicht mehr - da lag die alte Datei (aus den Quellen) - das ist jetzt nur noch ein symbolischer Link auf /usr/sbin/guess-helper. Aber warum will er das immer noch ausführen? Lösche ich den symlink dann gibt er mir einen Fehler das er die Datei nicht findet.
Wie entferne ich nvram-wakeup ordentlich aus dem System?

Wenn die Einstellungen in der nvram-wakeup.conf funktionieren, so senden sie diese Datei bitte an:

Na ja, probier mal ein apt-get remove nvram-wakeup und danach ein apt-get install nvram-wakeup.
Da ja dpkg nichts von deiner anderen Installation weiss, sollte es danach wieder gehen.

Das hatte ich schon versucht - geht nicht.
Hab das Mainboard jetzt nochmal neu angelernt - selbe conf Datei wurde erstellt. Noch eine Idee wo ich jetzt weiter machen könnte?

- Jenshey hey - das sieht ja schonmal nicht schlecht aus - obwohl es nicht genau mein Board ist (habe ein 8kta3+)
Aber die Zeit im BIOS passt - CMOS Fehler hab ich auch keine.... Ich versuch jetzt mal den Rechner zum aufwachen zu bekommen....

Der iwname ""epx_8kta3" muß noch im shutdown-script eingetragen werden.
Wie hieß die beim c't-VDR gleich nochmal? "vdr-addon-nvram-wakeup.conf", glaube ich.
Zur Not brauchts noch ein Kernel-Reboot. (need_reboot = ON_STAT ?)Aber, da wissen die ct'VDR-Leute mehr drüber. Is schon zu lange her bei mir.

Das hat wunderbar geklappt jetzt. Aber warum meldet dann nvram-wakeup das mein Board nicht unterstützt wird (beim Init) und ich es anlernen muss? Komisch. Ich hatte das 8KTA3 zwar in der Mainboard Liste gefunden, hab aber nicht drauf geachtet das der Name auch aufs + passt.
Auf jeden Fall hat er heute nacht wunderbar aufgenommen und sich dann wieder abgeschaltet.

Weil du das BIOS release von "01/31/2001" hast.

Deins ist also älter und wird deswegen nicht erkannt.
Die Werte haben aber soweit übereingestimmt. Darum habe ich dir empfohlen, den Iwname zu testen.Und deine nvram-wakeup.conf war halt noch unvollständig, deswegen der "checksum-Error".
