Das "lib" Steht hier auch nicht für Programmbibliotheken. Ich find die Namensgebung des FHS auch nicht gerade gelungen. Der FHS ist halt ein historisch gewachsenes Gebilde - der kleinste gemeinsame Nenner. Aber was solls - solangs nicht's bessers gibt, halten wir uns halt dran. Und bei /var ist der FHS eindeutig.
/var: "Applications must generally not add directories to the top level of /var."
/var/lib: "This hierarchy holds state information pertaining to an application or the system. State information is data that programs modify while they run, and that pertains to one specific host"
Aber ich denke mal drüber nach, einige conf-Dateien nach /etc/vdr zu verlinken, damit sie dort schneller gefunden werden, falls manuelle Eingriffe notwendig sind.
