Des weitern funzt der Streamdev-Client auf meinem Rechner net.

Ist das hier etwa das falsche Forum oder ist meine Frage unverständlich?
Die meisten aber nicht alle Fragen werden nach 5 Minuten/Stunden beantwortet, du bist aber schon im richtigen Forum.
Da du kein TV Bild mehr hast, nem ich fast an, das der VDR ein Problem beim starten hat mit aktivierten Plugin.
Normal ist das auf alle Fälle nicht.
Schau mal ob dir logread einen Fehler anzeigt.
Wenn ich das StreamDev Server Plugin ausschalte geht ja alles wieder.
Ich glaube genau das ist es, worauf WilderIgel hinaus will. Das streamdev plugin lässt deinen VDR abstürzen. Also das Programm - nicht den Rechner. Deshalb sollst du mal logread eintippen um zu schauen, was da genau passiert...

Das ist mir auch klar das das nicht mein Rechner ist.
Mich wunderts nur das das streamdev net so einfach funzt wie es immer beschrieben wird.
Neija egal ich werd mal das log auswerten.

Das ist natürlich nur ein Beispiel. Aber du siehst, jedes Plugin wird geladen, initialisiert und gestartet. Manche melden Fehler, manche Warnings. Manche führen dazu, dass der VDR stirbt. Meistens melden sie dann noch ein letztes Fehlerchen. Und das hilft dann meist bei der Suche nach der Ursache.
So nun hab ich das Teil neu installiert und siehe da ich kann den Streamdev Server aktivieren und bekomme trotzdem noch ein Bild.
Nun konnte ich sogar über das OSD Menü der Server (streamdev) an eine IP binden, Port einstellen usw.
Nun wäre noch die Frage was für ein Client Tool ich auf meinem XP installieren muss um den Stream zu empfangen?
z.B. Mplayer oder neuerdings auch vlc. Hab ich beides im Betrieb - geht prima. Der VLC hat den Vorteil, dass er ein hübsches GUI hat und über eine Playlist auch ein relativ bequemes Umschalten der Kanäle erlaubt. Musst aber ein nightly build vom vlc nehmen. Dann auf open stream gehen und als url http://meinvdr:3000/PES/1 für Kanal 1 eingeben oder http://meinvdr:3000/PES/2 für Kanal 2 etc. Bei mplayer natürlich analog vorgehen (aus cmd mplayer http://..... eintippen)
Ach ja - VLC bietet auch die Möglichkeit den Videostream bzw. Audiostream zu selektieren (on the fly) - das ist besonders bei ac3-Ton sehr wichtig.
Mediaclient ist auch nicht schlecht - VLC hab ich nicht ans rennen bekommen

So ist das halt, wenn man an irgendwelchen Parametern rumdreht ohne zu wissen, was man macht
Welche IP soll das denn sein, die du da einstellst? Und trägst du da tatsächlich ip.ip.ip ein oder schon sowas wie 192.168.2.0/0? Welcher Abschnitt der .conf ist es denn?
Natürlich trage ich eine richtige IP (192.168.1.0) ein. aber ich werde doch hier nicht meine IP verraten.
Ich nehme mal an, dass du deine private IP eingetragen hast. Die kannst du ruhig verraten, da kann eh keiner was mit anfangen. (und viele werden hier die gleiche IP benutzen. Das ist ja der Sinn von privaten IPs) Und wenn du am Ende eine 0 hast und es sich um ein Calss-C Netz handelt dann solltest du da so etwas wie 192.168.1.0/24 eintragen. Bei dieser Schreibweise handelt es sich um ein Paar aus IP-Adresse und Netzmaske. Die 24 bedeutet, dass die ersten 24 bit (von 32) der Netzmaske gesetzt sind was 255.255.255.0 entspricht. Der üblichen Netzmaske eines Class-C Netzwerks. 192.168.1.0 ist die dazu Passende Netzwerk IP. Bei einem Class-A wäre das dann z.B. 10.0.0.0/8 was dann einer Netzaddresse von eben 10.0.0.0 und einer Maske von 255.0.0.0 entspricht.
Nochmal die eigentlich interessante Frage: Welche IP soll das sein? Welcher Abschnitt der .conf?

Wie auch immer in der streamdevhosts.conf steht jetzt mein IP Bereich und Subnetmask (IP.IP.IP.0/24).
