[ANNOUNCE] Vomp 0.2.1

Chris Tallon hat gerade eine neue Version von VOMP ("VDR on MVP") veröffentlicht - 0.2.1:

Damit sollte es also auch wieder mit der aktuellen VDR-Devel 1.3.44 funktionieren!

Ich hatte bisher das mediamvp-plugin.
Aber es wird wohl nicht mehr so richtig weiter gepflegt.
Also in Stabilität und Umschaltverhalten schlägt der Vompserver das mediamvp-plugin um Längen.
Nur eines vermisse ich sehr.
Das mediamvp-plugin konnte mp3 spielen.
Wird es das für den Vompserver noch geben oder geht es vielleicht schon und ich finde es nur nicht.

Chris will das glaube ich primär als schlanke Settop-Box programmieren. Fotos und MP3s schließt er dabei wohl nicht aus, haben aber sehr nachgelagerte Priorität, und kommen erst, wenn alles andere perfekt ist:

I am not aiming for a generic media centre as the MVPMC project is doing, and as the MVP is sold in the first place. VOMP is more specific to being a set top box frontend to VDR. Having said that, I am not ruling it out - one day maybe, as long as it does not compromise the other goals. One specific exception to this is that I would like to be able to stream DVDs to the MVP using VOMP, so once the VDR integration side is done (!) that is where my attention will go.
