Technotrend Technotrend 2.1 premium dvb-c and budget (firmwares)

    I bought these (Technotrend 2.1 premium dvb-c and budget-c) cards from the ebay and Im starting to install VDR system. I just installed Mandriva 2005LE with Kernel 2.6.12-6.mdk. Mandriva seems detected these cards ok. I modprobed card just OK.


    My question is:


    Is firmwares needed when I using Kernel 2.6.12-6.mdk?
    Do I need to put firmwares to somewhere? Or is everything just allright now?

    I think the Technotrend-Firmware - if needed - is included in the DVB-Drivers. Maybe you should post the concering output of


    dmesg
    lspci
    lsmod


    If no firmware is found we'll be able to see it in the logs...
