Who know, how i can define keys on VDR to quick record and timeshifting whitout going to menus?

Assign remote buttons to VDR's "Pause" and "Record" functions (see MANUAL) by re-learning all keys or editing remote.conf.

asign a key to Pause and one for record on your remote if you havent already done this.
when you press Record vdr starts a recording of the current channel until you cancel it or the max time is reached (aroundabout 3 hours by default).
timeshift is pretty much the same. just hit pause
