Cannot get softhdcuvid to start

  • Hi!

I can't figure out what is wrong with my system as I cannot get softhdcuvid to start. I get the following error:

    joulu 15 10:11:13 digiboksi2 vdr[513]: [513] loading plugin: /usr/lib/vdr/plugins/libvdr-softhdcuvid.so.2.4.3

I am running Arch Linux and using GeForce GT 1030 as display card.

    Any ideas anyone?

  • Hi,

From which repository is your package? Or is it self compiled? Which src + version in which vdr version?

If self compiled? Please post the complete log of the compile.

The missing symbols are from the drm Version. If you really want to build a cuvid version then you should disable drm in the Makefile.

  • Thanks! It seems there was something strange with Vdr4Aarch PKGBUILD and tinkering with it resulted in a running version. Subtitles don't seem to work properly. They are at the top of the screen and scaled incorrecly.
