This box is used by a lot of providers, in Holland, eg KPN, Telfort, Glashard. And can be found cheap on most auctions sites.
Flashed with custom software (A SDK can be found on the internet) gives a nice HD client.
Hopefully a real programmer, which I'm not, makes a output plugin for VDR so it can run native on this box. For test I compiled VDR, it will compile and run on this box. Small patch is needed. To make it run I used from the BSD patches the part about sscanf().
But because there wasn't a working client I made something in Javascript.
Client can now be use for live tv. Time shift (if you use Multicast Channels), Watching recordings, deleting recordings. Setting switch timers, view timers on VDR.
With help of Thlo, the writer of VDR on SmartTV plugin, it is now possible to jump back and forwards in the recording.
