Hi,
I am thinking long time at when it is possible to get Spotify working on my HTPC.
I noticed that Spotify's Linux reposity works fine on yaVDR 0.4.
http://www.spotify.com/fi/download/previews/
Code
Debian
# 1. Add this line to your list of repositories by
# editing your /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://repository.spotify.com stable non-free
# 2. If you want to verify the downloaded packages,
# you will need to add our public key
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 4E9CFF4E
# 3. Run apt-get update
sudo apt-get update
# 4. Install spotify!
sudo apt-get install spotify-client-qt
Alles anzeigen
But how I can add this Spotify on my menu? I tried use same script that Firefox use but that only crash my VDR and after that I can start Spotify on terminal.
Code
<command name="Internet" execute="/usr/share/vdr/menuorg-appswitcher standalone=no app=firefox &> /dev/null " />
Have anyone tried use Spotify and yaVDR 0.4? I think that biggest problem is that when you close Spotify you got VDR start again. I found solution on yaVDR 0.3 and this link is only finnish language but commands are english.
