with yavdr 0.4 pre2 my nuovoton-cir work correctly, now after dist-upgrade the remote have some strange problem. sometimes detected double click and sometimes some button are inverted. before dist-upgrade all work ok.

I am not sure whether it's relevant or not, but the yavdr-team recommends no upgrade from 0.4pre1 or ...2 to to the final 0.4. Better by far is a very new installation.
But regarding your problem, you should have a view into the reapeat-filter-thread . That could be helpful. In my case with an homebrew-lirc it was the solution.

The nuovoton in Ubuntu default kernel has a known bug in this driver, where we have already a bug open. Plan is to patch the driver provided in v4l-dvb-dkms package in order to provide an updated driver for this devices. If done and successfull we would provide feedback to linuxtv developers in order to include it for the future. Can you please verify and confirm that current code in our v4l-dvb-dkms package has still this issue (aptitude install v4l-dvb-dkms) ?
