Hallo zusammen,

leider erweist sich die Einrichtung der S100 mit Debian etch und dem Skript von Mikka umständlicher als erwartet. Im Grunde genommen läuft alles, also MMS mit Umschaltung zum VDR, als vdr-sxfe mit xineliboutput. Leider werden auf meiner 4:3 Röhre nur Eierköpfe dargestellt. egal was ich unter den Plugineinstellungen von xineliboutput wähle, es wird keine korrekte Darstellung angezeigt. Habe zwar avards installiert, aber das startet einfach nicht, zmindest wird im Hauptmenü nur angezeigt, dass ich es starten könnte, aber es tut sich nichts. Auf einem 16:9 TV läuft alles korrekt. Wo wäre denn noch ein Ansatzpunkt zum korrekten einstellen?

Hi,

habe auf einer Seite mal Pin 8 isoliert, leider keine Veränderung. Immerhin habe ich es jetzt hinbekommen, dass das Seitenverhältnis stimmt (mit dem alten Scart-Kabel), aber nicht Fullscreen angezeigt wird, d.h. oben und unten sind die typischen Balken.
Merkwürdig. Avards will immer nocht nicht. Solch ein Problem hatte ich noch nie.

Ich kenne die Scripte von Mikka nicht, allerdings ist es nötig, abhängig davon ob man 4:3 oder 16:9 möchte, auch zwei Werte in der xorg.conf anzupassen (einfach mal z.B. die xorg.conf von Egalus oder Det für die S100 mal anschauen).

Avards geht soweit ich weiss nur mit ff karten.
Läuft denn der xserver allein im "Vollbild" ?

- HTPC mit zerbasteltem Yavdr 0.4 , Origen ae X15e, MCE Remote, Asus P5N7A-VM, 1x Mystique Satix Xpress Dual, Xbmc und vdr an Pana 46PZ85E
- SMT7020S und S100 mit Gentoo:vdr aus ebuilds,mms handgebaut,xfce4 + viel weiterer Unsinn, einige eigene Patches hier und da.
Auch gern Debian, aber wehe jemand kommt mir mit Suse.

Ja, Vollbild ist kein Problem, auch die grundsätzliche PAL-Auflösung klappt, nur halt 4:3 im Vollbild nicht. Vollbild bekomme ich nur mit Eierköppen (;-) Die xorg.conf habe ich bereits korrekt angepasst. Egalus verwendet durch sein Skript und der damit verbunden conf anscheinen einen anderen Ansatz, als Mikka.

Bei zendeb klappt das auch nicht "korrekt" oder ich bin noch zu doof. Also meine Glotze schaltet immer auf 16:9 und ich muss zurückschalten. Erst hab ich dann immer von Hand auf 4:3 gestellt mit der TV Fernbedienung. Irgendwann hab ich mir ein minitool gestrickt was das wss signal softwareseitig tötet, hat aber zu unregelmässigen abstürzen geführt mit dem IEGD...
Der Iegd ist ein Spielverderber.
Inzwischen kann ich mit dem intel xorg Treiber ein Bild auf der Glotze machen, hab da ein wenig drin rumgeferkelt, macht aber artefakte und der Treiber allokiert sich flott 64mb Ram für vga, auch noch nicht brauchbar. Zum Vergleich: der IEGD allokiiert 16mb....
Ich werd mal versuchen das schön zu machen sobald die massive Frickelei im drm aufhört, aber bis Weihnachten ist da noch richtig Bewegung drin wegen Kernelmodesetting.
Zukunftsvisionen.....
Wenn der Xserver ansich im Vollbild läuft spiel im OSD mit der Aspectratio im vdr setup rum sowie der im xineliboutput Einstellungsmenü. Normal müsstest du damit zum Ziel kommen.

habe bereits alle Kombinationsmöglichkeiten durchprobiert. Entweder es geht Vollbild mit Eierköpfen, oder korrektes Seitenverhälnis mit Balken. Werde später noch mal im TV Abschnitt der xorg.conf den Vorschlag vom Ioannis umsetzen.
