[softhddevice] im sekundentakt missed frames => aber nur als fenster...

    so sieht das mit softhddevice im fenster aus

    Die Einstellungen sind logischerweise die selben (wie der rechner auch :)

    "missed frame" bedeutet, daß deine Videokarte überfordert ist.


    Deinterlacer runtersetzten, kleineres OSD, Skip Chroma Aktivieren, Normale Skalierung benuzten, ...


    Irgendeinen besonderen Windowmanager mit 3D oder ähnlichen?

    Ok ich werd mal die Einstellungen anpassen (wobei bei xine das nicht der fall ist)
    Beim schauen faellt das nicht mal auf...
    Installation ist ne "standart" 12.04 ubuntu installation
    Graka => 02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation C77 [GeForce 8300] (rev a2)
    Mich wundert nur das dies im Vollbildmodus nicht der fall ist.....

    Mir fallen im Moment zwei mögliche Ursachen ein.


    Im Fenstermodus produziert der Windowmanager zusätzliche Belastung der Graphikkarte.
    Besonders so ein Sch* und Sch* wie Unity gehört zu den üblichen Verdächtigen.


    Ansonsten muß mehr skaliert werden. Bei Vollbild kann 1080i Sender ohne Skalierung
    ausgegeben werden.
