Hallo alle zusammen,
da ich was TV angeht von Windows mit DVBViewer/Recording Service auf Linux mit VDR umsteigen möchte, bin ich z.Z. auf der Suche nach der für mich geeignetsten Lösung für einen Headless VDR Server den ich von verschiedenen Clients aus nutzen kann. Dabei scheint mir yaVDR eine gute Sache, da sehr aktuell und weitestgehend vorkonfiguriert!
Obwohl die Installation und Einrichtung laut Dokumentation mehr als simpel scheint habe ich gleich zu Anfang ziemlich komische Probleme. Vielleicht steh ich aber auch total auf dem Schlauch und übersehe etwas Essentielles.
Ich habe das Installationsimage von yaVDR 0.5 x64 geladen (nicht das hybrid) und es auf einem XEN Server 6.2 installiert. Vor der Installation habe ich bereits per PCI-Passthrough eine DD Cine CT v6 an die VM durchgereicht, damit sie ggf. schon während der Installation erkannt werden konnte. Nach der Installation jedoch musste ich feststellen, dass keine Treiber für die Karte geladen wurden. Also habe ich mich auf die Suche gemacht und gelesen, dass diese wohl die Installation vom "media-build-experimental-dkms"-Paket braucht. Dieses konnte ich aber nicht installieren, da die PPAs von yaVDR gar nicht installiert waren. Da in der Dokumentation steht, dass diese aber nach der Grundinstallation vorhanden sein sollten, beschlich mich das Gefühl, dass irgendwas schief gelaufen ist.
Habe die VM kurzerhand gelöscht und neu aufgesetzt.. hat aber nichts gebracht. Unter /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ keine yavdr.list. Demnach wurde auch nichts installiert was mit VDR zutun hat.
Über die Suche im Forum habe ich leider nichts gefunden was diesem Problem entspricht, somit auch keine Lösung. Ich denke es hat irgendetwas mit der Virtualisierung auf dem XEN Server zutun. Oder auch nicht?
