hi i have a big problem with channels.conf file and i would like your ideas and suggestions on how to solve it. well if i leave my channels.conf untouched after satellite scan all channels decode without any problems.but when i edit channels.conf ( remove channels, creating bouguets) many channels but mostly hd channels dont decode .i tried with cle4vdr and also with text editors on linux. i ah ve the same problem.how can i solve this problem? how do you edit your channels.conf file?

A very easy way to do this in yaVDR 0.4 is to use the channels page in the webfrontend, as stated here:http://www.yavdr.org/blog/blog…-than-ever-with-yavdr-04/

Regarding cle4vdr: Could you please send me some example files (before editing - after editing) including a short description what you did (deleted channel x, added group y, which channels are broken etc.) to cleditor@arcor.de

i think i found the solution.its not a modification problem.just a specific plugin mess things if vdr starts with a fta channel instead of an encry**ed one
