Hi, I noticed weired behavior when running XBMC. While watching videos, when I press pause on remote, it starts recording some random channel, VDR popup informs about it. But it does not happen always (quite rare). I could not recreate that behavior. It seems that vdr-sxfe is runniing in background and receiving remote control buttons, has anyone had something similar? Curently I'm using xbmc as frontend.
vdr-sxfe is receiving lirc commands while xbmc is running

VDR is using lirc in the standard config, so it is allways receiving lirc events.
You can turn it off by setting the lirc device to /dev/null in a config file.
And for using lirc you can use vdr-sxfe with the lirc option. -
What config file?

Ups, now i see that this is a yavdr problem,
maybe its a bit different than the standart ubuntu...In a normal Ubuntu the integrated lirc in vdr can be disabled by changing:
OPTIONS="-w 60 --lirc=/dev/null" # in /etc/default/vdr
but it could be a bit different in the "yavdr ubuntu" -
Thanks, I'll try it.

If xbmc is used as frontend what netvista-fan said is the solution to it.

It worked well. But when I'm using keyboard it still sometimes starts recording random channels. Is is possible not to run vdr-sxfe, so only vdr backend is running?
