back key do not work in XBMC plugin [SOLVED]

    Hi.


    The back key of my remote works perfectly in VDR but when I change the interface to XBMC plugin, the key do not work, so I can not go back on the menus.


    Please, what can I do to solve the problem.

    From my point of view your problem might be an incorrect Licmap.


    /var/lib/vdr/.xbmc/userdata/keymaps/Lircmap.xml

    but I'm sorry, I'm not in the position to help you...

    I checked /var/lib/vdr/.xbmc/userdata/keymaps/ but there is no file inside. I have another yavdr in a virtual computer and the file is missing too. Should I check for the file on the web?

    If i am right the lircmap.xml should be in /var/lib/vdr/.xbmc/userdata.
    Otherwise you could search for it.

    First verify the name of the Back key in your lircd.conf (eg. Back), then replace between the <back> ... </back> the content within the tags with the verified key name in Lircmap.xml. Should work.

    I have modified:


    /usr/share/xbmc/system/Lircmap.xml


    In the file I found my remote among others: device=iMONPAD
    Inside the section I found:
    ..................
    <pageplus>Ch+</pageplus>
    <pageminus>Ch-</pageminus>
    <back>Esc</back>
    <back>Backspace</back>
    <menu>Multimon</menu>
    <title>MouseMenu</title>
    ..................

    and I added:
    ..................
    <pageplus>Ch+</pageplus>
    <pageminus>Ch-</pageminus>
    <back>Esc</back>
    <back>Backspace</back>
    <back>AppExit</back>
    <menu>Multimon</menu>
    <title>MouseMenu</title>
    ..................


    And the back key works perfectly.


    It is possible that the malfunction is because I do not have the remote Imon PAD, instead I have a remote One For All configured as an Imon PAD.
