I have a problem with compilation and creating Debian package for VDR 1.7.14-1de from Tobi repository:
deb http://e-tobi.net/vdr-ng-experimental squeeze base backports addons vdr-multipatch
deb-src http://e-tobi.net/vdr-ng-experimental squeeze base backports addons vdr-multipatch
I'm dowloading VDR sources via:
apt-get source vdr
Then i try 2 ways:
1)I apply patches via debian/rules multipatch, then i'm putting plugin into PLUGINS directory and "make plugins". Plugin made in such a way doesn't work - VDR says it's binary incompatible
2)I do the same without applying patches - VDR recognizes plugin but restart with seagfaults
Should i install patches (to make so-called VDR-multipatch) or not?
Last thing: I can't find a consistent way how to make debian package from plugin. There is script called: debianize-vdrplugin but I didn't find good example what should I do next
