ich bin inzwischen ganz verzweifelt. Trotz vieler Versuche und Lesen hier im Forum und Googeln bin ich noch keinen Schritt weiter!
Ich habe ein Gigabyte Mainboad GA-P42-ES3G mit Onboad Audio.

Das Board hat 3 Analoge Audio-Ein/Ausgänge an die ich meine DD 5.1 Lautsprechersystem anschließen möchte.
Der mittlere Ausgang (grün, Line out) liefert auch brav stereo.
Die anderen beiden sollten sich zwischen Micro und Line In auf Rear und Center/Subwoofe umstellen lassen. Das gelingt mir unter Debian aber leider nicht und diese beiden Buchsen bleiben stumm.
Inzwischen bezweifle ich, dass das überhaupt geht!
Mit alsamixer habe ich schon (alles) probiert, aber leider erfolglos.
speaker-test -Dplug:surround51 -c6 liefert bei Front Left und Right Ton, bei allem anderen jedoch nur schweigen.

Im Moment versuche ich lediglich überhaupt Ton aus dem blauen und pinken Stecker herauszubekommen. VDR ist noch gar nicht beteiligt!
