HOWTO: ReelVDR installieren für Activy mit eHD

    hallo


    Mit dem patch funktioniert meine dvb-t Karte nicht mehr.
    Ich bekomme diese Fehler:
    switching device 3 to channel 3
    Oct 10 23:32:28 ReelBox vdr: [30209] ERROR: no DiSEqC parameters found for channel 3


    Muss ich etwas in der Diseq.conf ändern?

    DVB-t does not work. VDR always looks for disecParameter for Channel...
    I have tried to make a new Channel only with frequency. Normaly VDR create the new channels automatly, but the same problem. Is this a Problem with the patch?

    VDR took also the dvb-t Card for DVB-t Channels, but he want diseq Params for this Channels

    on the inicial post you dont have reference to recompile all plugins for the system to work


    only copy the vdr bin is not enough for what i read


    another thinb is wat do we gain to upgrade the reelvdr working on old version???

    Some colleagues here did so. But I don't know if it is really necessary for the new patch. I have not upgraded yet.

    For 7.10 you might change your packet sources to "Ubuntu old releases" or something like that.
    I am at work and can't look it up on my VDR right now.


    There will be a new Recovery-Image-ISO with Ubuntu 8.04 soon.
    That's the easiest way to get rid of the old release, that is not supported any more.

    I don't know. I did not have many problems with the old stable release.
    You'd better wait a few days. A lot of user complain in the RMM forum.


    I will have a few advantages, because my setup with DVB-S and DVB-T did not work with the old S2API-Patch and the Multiproto is a little bit unstable with my DVB-S2 card.
    This is fixed in Yuris new patch.

    Dieses Zität könntest du auch löschen.
    Denn Auch mit S2API Treiber kann man den VDR ungepatched für SDTV verwenden. Hatte ich auch eine Woche so laufen.

    O.k., das muss auch an dem neuen Patch liegen.


    Da das Ubuntu meine IDE-Platten sowieso als sda anspricht, hab ich auch den Verdacht, man muß die Platte gar nicht ausbauen und per USB bespielen, sondern kann direkt von DVD installieren.


    Hat das mal jemand ausprobiert?


    Alles in Allem denke ich, das läuft alles ja recht prima und mit dem Support von Yuri sind wir auf einem guten Weg das noch länger am Laufen zu halten.

    Nein ich meinte das anders.


    Wenn man wenn man einen DVB-s2 treiber für die Karte Installiert kann man sie auch mit einem ungepatchten ReelVDR (der noch mit API 3 arbeitet)benutzen.

    Ja, war eine geistige Verwirrung meinerseits.


    In der alten Version hat das mit dem ungepatchten VDR und S2API Treiber noch nicht funktioniert.
    Dafür hatte man bei SDTV mit dem Multiproto-Treiber ein Bild.


    Ich hab mal im RMM Forum gelesen, die wollten was im Netceiver Richtung S2API Syntax ändern.
    Vielleicht ist das ja mit diesem Release geschehen???
