probleme mit linvdr 0.7

  • Hmmm, looks like an unmatching channels.conf. Could you perhaps ask another user living close to you? Scanning channels is not that easy.

As workaround: Delete all entries in your channels.conf except the first. Then let VDR scan for new transponders or new channels (in the settings menu).

    Best regards, Mirko

I hope you tried VDR without any plugins. And had a look into "logread". Which error does he display now?

    Best regards, Mirko

I disabled the plugins with clean install and did not add any firmware files. Here a part of the logread:

Thank you very much, Mirko. This helped and the VDR started ok, because I can see something like date and time on tv screen. Also keys 1-9 and + and 1 work.

Should the channels.conf -file contain the local channels and frequencies? Any examples of this channels.conf DVB-T?

  • If you meet problems installing Linvdr 0.7 and you have Technotrend Premium DVB-T 1.2, do this:

    1. Install LinVDR
    2. Copy a file SC_MAIN.MC from TechnoTrend Windows drivers package to /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/ as dvb-fe-sp8870.fw
    3. Make sure you have right channels.conf file or let the vdr tune channels.
