Surround Sound 5.1 .. how ??

    how can i get surround sond out of my box ... my setup is:
    Creative Live 5.1
    Nexus-s 2.3
    VDR 1.4.0
    Ubuntu 5.10


    everything is working fine, but only in the two front channels

    do you have connected your surround receiver with the sp/dif connector of your nexus-s?
    When done, than you can try to switch to a channel sending a dd signal, open the vdr osd menu and press the green button.

    And if you want to use the SPDIF of your Soundcard you have to use bitstreamout-Plugin! Check the vdr-wiki.de for further Informations!
