Just want to ask what is the correct way to install yavdr on ubuntu 10.04. I need to know the how i install stuff,i mean i install xine first then vdr i dont know what to do.Also when i finish installation how i start vdr?

i read somewhere that i can add yavdr sources but i dont know after the order i must install vdr plugins and other software

As stated on http://www.yavdr.org/download/ you can use two stable PPAs containing vdr and xbmc packages: https://launchpad.net/~yavdr/+archive/stable-vdr and https://launchpad.net/~yavdr/+archive/stable-xbmc - however your result will not be a yaVDR but only an Ubuntu 10.04 with more recent Packages of VDR, it's Plugins and XBMC.
To get a real yaVDR you have to install is from a yaVDR ISO.There is no specific order to install those packages beacause due to APT's dependencies each packet will request installation of missing parts.

yeap thats what i mean .so the command is like apt-get update && apt-get install vdr vdr-plugins xbmc?

Yes, if you have added the PPAs to your sources.list already, those can be installed as any other Ubuntu packages.
