durch den ganzen Frust mit VDR hab ich mich nach alternativen umgesehen und bin bei MythTV hängen geblieben. Das macht genau das was ich brauche und im gegensatz zu VDR ist das für Analog-Karten ausgelegt.

so langsam hab ich echt den Überblick verloren. Ich fange jetzt mittlerweile fast Woche 2 an in der ich versuche den VDR zum laufen zu bekommen und das "beste" was ich erreichen konnte, war ein Bild aber ich konnte nicht aufnehmen.
Also hier nochmal meine Ausgangsbedingung:
Ein Rechner mit einer Hauppauge PVR350 der als reiner Analoger Videorekorder mit einem Gentoo-System funktionieren soll.
Um alles in allem zum laufen zu bekommen, habe ich die ganze Zeit mit dem Kernel 2.6.10-gentoo-r2 getestet und bin auch wie oben schon geschrieben soweit gekommen, das ich ein Bild auf dem TV hatte (mit PVR350 Ausgabeplugin) hatte. Nur sobald ich versucht habe, etwas aufzunehmen wurde ich sehr unfreundlich von einem Video Data Stream Broken begrüßt, Nach dem suchen hier im Forum habe ich auch div. Lösungen/Patches gefunden die ich versucht habe aber mich nicht zum Ziel führten. Da ich dachte, das es vielleicht am Kernel liegen könnte hatte ich jetzt als nächsten Schritt versucht, einen 2.4er Kernel zu bauen aber dort scheitere ich schon daran, das sich ein Kernel mit den V4L2 Patches von bytesex.org nicht mehr durchcompilieren lässt bei mir.
Egal wie ich es drehe und wende, ich komme nicht zum Ziel... hat hier vielleicht noch jemand ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht und kann er mir vielleicht mitteilen, wie er zum Erfolg gekommen ist?

Ich könnte ... ich könnte KOTZEN !!!!!!!!! Ich hab jetzt X Tage mich mit dem Problem rumgeschlagen und wegen Erschöpfung ein Tag nur mit PS2 Spielen verbracht und jetzt hab ich die Lösung!
Was war die Lösung? Allem anschein nach gibt es Probleme mit neueren PVR350 Karten die einen Tuner vom Typ 38 haben (Siehe http://www.shspvr.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6335). Ich hab jetzt den neusten IVTV Treiber (0.3.2b) im Einsatz und folgende /etc/modules.d/ivtv Optionen:
options ivtv ivtv_debug=1 ivtv_std=2 tda9887=0
add below ivtv msp3400 saa7115 saa7127 tda9887

Ich möchte es ja immer noch nicht glauben aber es läuft - OH HAPPY DAY !!!!!!!!

Also ... ich bin wieder etwas weitergekommen
Wenn ich den Rechner jetzt neu starte, bekomme ich ein Bild (EuroSport, wenn auch nur undeutlich erkennbar weil es nicht richtig eingestellt ist) wenn ich den VDR Starte... Wenn ich dann scanne, is alles wieder weg.
Ich bin momentan etwas ratlos ...

Also den Vorschlag von Schnuffel habe ich eben mal ausprobiert ... leider ohne Erfolg. Bzgl. der Channels: Ich hab mir ein Skript gebaut, mit dem ich Scanne (da ich noch etwas Frisch mit der TV Sache hier bin, weis ich nicht ob das so 100%ig Sinn macht)

Also Ton bekomme ich wie schon geschrieben rein, aber leider kein Bild. Ich bekomme nur Schnee rein und dort wo ich Ton habe, ist das Bild etwas "anders" ... verzerrt bzw. man kann erahnen, dass da ein Bild sein könnte. Hat jemand so eine Konfiguration so wie ich sie gerade versuche zum laufen zu bekommen unter Gentoo, wenn ja, welche Treiber-Versionen usw?
Update: CNN krieg ich rein, aber mit ganz ganz ganz viel Schnee ....

Also soweit ich sehe, wird der PVR350 Treiber geladen ... zum anderem: Wenn er nicht geladen würde, könnte ich nichts über den Output auf meinem Fernseher sehen können oder? Ich hatte ja gestern noch etwas gescannt und teilweise Radio-Sender und auch das Audio-Signal von Sendern reinbekommen, nur leider kein Bild

Hallo erstmal,
also ich kämpfe jetzt seit über 3 Tagen verzweifelt damit, einen lauffähigen VDR nur mit Analog-Plugin und PVR350-Plugin zum laufen zu bekommen. Nachdem ich Stunden in eurem Board gesucht habe und auch sonst andere Suchmaschinen geqäuhlt habe, bin ich jetzt mit meinem Latein am Ende. Vielleicht kann mir jemand den entscheidenden Tipp geben da ich mittlerweile vor lauter Bäumen kein Wald mehr sehen (oder so ähnlich...).

Wenn ich den VDR starte, läuft er auch und ich kann mich durch die verschiedenen Menüs "hangeln":

Auf dem Bildschirm sehe ich aber nur Schnee bzw. teilweise Schemenhaft mal umrisse eines TV-Programmes wenn ich einen Scan mit ptune.pl durchführe.
Hat jemand einen Tip (bzw. mehrere) für mich?
Wenn ihr noch mehr Output braucht, sagt mir welchen und ich liefere ihn - wäre wirklich SEHR dankbar für jede Anregung wie ich weiterkommen kann.
Version des VDR ist 1.3.14.
