Now i get codes in irw

event3But still i can't get remote works in vdr.
When i start vdr with remote -i /dev/input/event3 or -l /dev/lircd it doesn't recognize
my remote.
Irrecord also doesn't start and gives me error like that reported above.
My questions are
- do i need lircd.conf
- do i need only remote.conf in vdr and, in this case, how i have to start remote plugin in vdr ( -i /dev/input/event3 or -l /dev/lircd)

...benutze hier Ubuntu 10.04
- sudo dpkg-reconfigure lirc im Terminal ausführen
Bei Remote control und IR Transmitter jeweils none auswählen
In der Datei /etc/lirc/hardware.conf kontrollieren ob bei "START_LIRCD="false" steht
lircd darf nämlich nicht gestartet sein.
evtl. nun überprüfen ob inputlirc installiert ist.
- in der Datei /etc/default/inputlirc den event der FB eintragen
bei mir werden 2 angezeigt,habe das event von kbd gewählt
bei dir ist das wohl event4 wie ich lese.
die Datei sieht dann bei mir so aus:
# Options to be passed to inputlirc.
EVENTS="/dev/input/event5"
OPTIONS="-g -c -m 0"
und bei OPTIONS auf das -c achten,dann wird nämlich aus den mehren CODES die
manche Tasten senden EINER gemacht.
(man inputlirc,dort sind auch weiter Optionen nachzulesen)
- jetzt irw /dev/lircd in Terminal getippt und schauen welchen CODE die Tasten der
Fernbedienung ausgeben und notieren.
Hänge mal die Codes meine FB bei (MS-Tech FB Code)
- im wiki hier habe ich dann die remote.conf kopiert,
den Teil für LIRC

und dann die CODES eingeben die mir irw angezeigt hat.
Bsp: LIRC.Ok KEY_ENTER
KEY_ENTER war der Code der mir von irw angezeigt wurde wenn ich die OK Taste gedrückt hatte
Das habe ich dann mit allen LIRC.* Zeilen gemacht die in remote.conf waren.
Meine remote.conf hänge ich mal bei.
- Wenn du die remote.conf,bei mir ist die unter /etc/vdr/remote.conf,änderst mußt du
inputlirc neu starten -> sudo /etc/init.d/inputlirc restart
Hoffe das hilft Dir weiter.
Bin hier noch am testen,ist alles neu für mich...die ganze HTPC Geschichte.
Habe erstmal vdr getestet.
XBMC mit LiveTV soll bei mir auch das Hauptprogramm für die HTPC Seite werden.
Von TVHeadend habe ich auch was gelesen,aber noch nicht getestet.
Was harmoniert dann besser zusammen XBMC/VDR oder XBMC/TVHeadend?
SOLVED!!!
- No need of lircd.conf
- syntax for remote plugin is "-l /dev/lircd"
- I upgraded inputlirc to the latest version because the one I installed did not support the -c option to double the keys.
In doing so I was able to operate all the keys except numeric and directional ones.
Searching I found this link that has been decisive
Messages from Lirc have to be longer than 21 chars, why?
